It's nice to see that Kdin is still seething in his troon cave.

You all should watch the trailer for Dunkelman and Mariel's new YouTube show. Apparently, they castrated Tyler Coe prior to filming.

Just what the world needs, another show about middle-aged white people discussing MUH MENTALS. I'd love to know who they think the target audience for this show is, because they say it's inspired by

but those are all kids shows and this looks more like something Zooey Deschanel would produce now she's too old to play the manic pixie dreamgirl.

They should have probably let Barbara narrate the trailer, or anyone other than the guy who sounds like he's recalling how his entire squad got wiped out in Iraq.

Tweets and screenshots and stuff random things and some about the rt revival but no definitive statements , also the ice wolf tweet I just liked so that why I included it View attachment 6952482
why is Chibi, a person who never worked at or interacted with roosterteeth the only one who seems excited, the rest are either against it or just doing the corporate "congrats on the thing". did they all hate roosterteeth that much?

Chibidoki is good friends with Ray, and obviously grew up being enamored enough by the culture and content of the old RT workplace to want to become a content creator herself. But apparently Ray hasn't screamed at her hard enough about how it's not worth it. Though, Chibi's content already consists of people bullying her and flanderizing her, maybe she'd fit right in.

So Matt’s grandma died. Press F.

In the tradition of when it rains it pours, the flight he took was threatened for hijacking.
View attachment 6955673
This resulted in the police confiscating everyone’s electronics when no one came forward.

Edit: archived.

Edit edit: Apparently Chris and Blaine “ I (did not) fuck Jon Risinger” Gibson tried to buy the rights to Rooster Teeth??
I feel like this would be in the news?
There was some teenager who attempted a hijacking in Texarkana and it made the NYT. A hijacking threat on a commercial airline would definitely make the news.

I've been ruminating on the potential revival of RT since the announcement dropped and I just kinda have to wonder; where does it even go from here?

Burnies managed to wrest the name, Red vs Blue and Camp Camp from the jaws of WB (Prolly cuz they thought it was all worthless) but RVB concluded, Camp Camp fizzled out like all their properties and pretty much every old staffer (aka, the people fans actually want to see) have most likely already moved on to new jobs or enterprises. So whats the play here?

Scooping back up all the late stage hires that slowly bled the company out of existence wont be a good idea. I don't think Regulation and 100% Eat are gonna just rebarnacle themselves to the dead brand so they can't bring stuff like that into the fold.

This pretty much nails it. Unless Bernie has spent this time finding talent that actually has it, and plans on going back to what made the company good, which was doing original machinima ideas and shorts, it’s a fools errand.

No one asked for RT to come back.

It's going to fail as hard as G4 did, why? Because they have no properties besides RvB which is finished, Camp Camp burned out they don't have rights to RWBY which was their only cash cow due to the autism attached to it.
every channel they bought out like Cowchop, death battle and Funhaus essentially lost them money, the controversies attached to production like Genlock embezzlement, RWBY production and Montys plan for it not being followed, Heywood being a rapist, and the abuse and exploitation of production staff that write and animate.

I expect a glorious shitshow that will fizzle out within 36 months. Document well kiwis!

I guess they didn't learn anything from how poorly "All Good, No Worries" did. The most popular video didn't crack 100k and that's only because they pointed out that Blake and Yang from RWBY were on it in the title.

Also, is Burnie not inviting them back for his revival of RT? Probably a smart move on his part but you'd think he'd want Barbara back since she was part of the old crew when they started getting really big on YT.

Obviously wasting money to rent out the old huge studio space is retarded. If Burnie only wanted to buy the name and IP back because he was a founder and would rather him own it than a large globalist company but didn't plan on actually doing anything with it, that would be admirable and make sense.

The best of the worst case scenarios would be to just do a single RT podcast/Youtube stream weekly or bi-weekly so fans could keep up with them, be entertained, and have a few memberberries thrown in. If he is trying to build a big media company again, it will be a disaster.

It'd be really funny if he manages to get some sort of permit to burn the place down or demolish it.
