I mean like 3-4 retards on 4chan got arrested for fedposting about Volusia's Mike Chitwood. We've even had users on this site like SIGSEGV who got fed visits for fedposting way too fucking much. Retards on Reddit who think they're a part of some resistance movement shouldn't be immune to something that's been the standard of every other site for ages now.

What's exhilarating about this is that the right hasn't been good at symbolic politics since at least Reagan. They couldn't do visually effective political messaging that didn't sound cringe and phony. Can you imagine Mitch McConnell or even GWB doing something genuinely striking and funny? The best GWB got was his stage managed photo op before the Mission Accomplished screen (didn't work out too well, but it was cool for a few days). After that, it was dully committee people who put you to sleep by just being in the room. And now, here we are; aside from doing good stuff, they are delivering these absolute bangers one after the other. "We are going to shut down USAID and turn it into a CBP office." "We will terrorize these decrepit, elderly bureaucrats with racist zoomer kids." The right couldn't do it, and all of a sudden, it can. Feels like a real generational change, a new cohort of guys coming on stage with a bang after having been held back for far too long.

After theater kid occupied government, it seems like we are getting anon shitposter occupied government. It feels like a part of the golden age of Twitter has just been dumped in the middle of DC right next to the control levers, complete with Dr. Paul doing his IT'S HAPPENING!!! wave. This is real meme magic. Just the most fun we have had in politics for a long, long time, maybe ever.

I think for too long they have been allowed to get away with it. Make a big showing of perp walking a few of these faggots in front of the press. They will scatter and stfu. They are too used to the state ignoring/protecting them.

A few (hundred) pages ago I called out people who wanted subreddits banned. Thanks to some enlightening posts, and a few insulting ones, I've narrowed down my point to something less autistically spergy...except this preposition.

Anyway. Internet free speech should be protected at all costs. Corporate funded speech should be silenced with extreme prejudice.

If reddit returns to an open forum of forums, where people are free to discuss whatever ideas they want - good and bad, then that would be super. The paid-for shills parroting acceptable lines is not acceptable.

Some guy who with his brother made a bunch of videos on various educational topics that were easy to digest for students called Crash Course. My teachers back in the day had us watch him a lot. He's the unironic source of the 'I fucking love science' meme. Iirc it's the name of his podcast. Basically Bill Nye of YouTube in many ways, both his surface level teaching and left-wing politics, but a millennial and autistic. Iirc his brother is more sane than him.

USAID is a great test case for DOGE, because while it is large, it isn't obscenely large and it was obvious that there was a lot of waste.

The DoD is going to be a huge complicated mess with billions of dollars disappearing into the void.

Also I would personally avoid flying or going into any crowded areas during the audit and the budget cuts. Who knows what coincidences may happen at that time which will also somehow make it popular to fund the military industrial complex without any questions.

So how do I talk to the Treasury guy here? The IRS keeps sending me nastygrams about a tax bill I paid years ago, have proof I paid years ago, and the website and everyone I talk to at the IRS says it's a system glitch and I shouldn't be getting these, but they still keep adding late fees and interest penalties on the supposed owed amount, all on IRS stationery and not a scam, just a "glitch."

I feel like it's a bad use of my tax dollars to send certified letters to people like me who don't actually owe back taxes, and it sure freaks a person out to receive a notice like that. Even more fun if it happens in front of family and friends when the mail carrier makes you sign for it. I have low level anxiety that these "we will seize your assets" notices will end up resulting in $12k being wiped from my accounts and I'll have to sue to get it back from these morons. Please fire them and/or disband the entire IRS, so that taxpaying, family-having Americans like me who worked their way up from poverty and into a high bracket...the exact kind of thing America wants to encourage...don't have to live in fear of this agency's "mistakes" and "glitches" wiping out assets and savings.

Edward Coristine, if you're really here, getting rid of little glitches like that would be a real boon to real people.

(I know, I know, DOGE is not my personal army...)
