Elon's promise to bring inflation down to 0 by 2026 almost seems too good to be true. I wasn't aware 0% inflation was even possible in the modern era, let alone done in a little over a year.

Government debt increase to 0 or negative would be great. A healthy economy would have some inflation in general, 1-2% or so. Deflation is a bad, bad thing though.

The US would have to actually print money now and then to keep deflation in check.

I don't know a ton about the debt's implications, but quick searching says that the U.S. paid 1 trillion dollars in payments to it's debt last year.
With that point alone, if you divide 1 trillion by the US population of ~350 million; you get around 3000. It's not perfect since not all of those 350 million pay taxes evenly (ex. children don't pay, richer might pay more), but in theory, at minimum, it's about 3000 dollars every year not being taken out of your paychecks.

I am loving all the winning in general but I can't help but feel like a doomer re: fixing the corruption in the government, for a simple reason:

1) You'd have to be the biggest retard alive to assume Republican politicians are all innocent angels who never get up to reams of corrupt shit themselves, and yet
2) I don't see any Republican politicians freaking out about Trump and Elon's supposed deep diving.

Why would Republican politicians not be losing their minds too, unless they knew they weren't going to be held accountable? They would have to see the writing on the wall if there was any actual risk of their own shit getting exposed. I can't help fearing this is just one party seizing the other party's corrupt money trove for themselves instead of actually trying to fix things for good. Our tax dollars just get redistributed among Republican rich fucks via Republican backhanded methods instead of Democrat ones, meanwhile the middle and lower class continue to be screwed over as per usual.

I really want to believe there could be real change. Please tell me what I'm not seeing.
