More than that, they were released as "Season 8" and "Season 9" for each run of it. They're infamously terrible however and most don't consider them canon despite the labeling of them as seasons. That's why the person you're replying to said Zack probably loved the comics.

Isn't this just normal promotion tactics in the age of social media? Major brands do it all the time. You get your product talked about in the open online and shown more on top of getting your existing customers more engaged with the brand. That's all it is, there is no political leaning to it.

Why does Zack keep calling this color book Christian and conservative? I don't think Drunk3PO is really either unless there is some lore I'm missing (which is possible, I only know of him from passing mentions and small stream appearances). From the scan previews of it it looks amateurish and not great but the content just looks like it's for young kids, doesn't seem like the messaging goes being generic "Believe in yourself" and "Friendship good" Saturday morning cartoon stuff.

Are there scans of the first volume up anywhere? I'm curious if it's secretly one of those cringe over the top moralizing Christian comics religious groups used to put out in he 80's and 90's. That alone would make it more entertaining than any of Zack's books.

Also Zack seems to miss the fact that just telling a normal story and not having any weird sex/ LGBBBQ+ stuff in it is enough to get labeled as conservative in the modern media landscape. Compared to the children's books containing literal porn and tranny propaganda bullshit in them that are sitting on school library shelves I guess D3PO's book about believing in yourself is really out there in comparison.

Richard, just because people are upset that their Black Ops games are woke now doesn't mean they want to play something "realistic." They want to play Black Ops, just not woke, an option they are not given. I doubt Richard has ever played a multiplayer FPS since I don't think he'd enjoy being repeatedly teabagged by 13 year olds.

He failed at comics because he did everything in a retarded way. He had everything he needed to succeed and just had to make it fail because he let his contrarianism and his lack of an editor to dictate what stories get made and what don't.

GI Joe was always cartoonish mish mash from my understanding, meanwhile, COD did used to make an effort to keep its politics grounded and relevant to each entry.
