I remember during the early/mid period of the Gamergate War, when a confused JonTron wandered into the fray, and made the inexcusable mistake of daring to ask for people to be civil and reasonable. After being mercilessly lambasted by Anti-GG for the unspeakable crime of sharing his opinion, he beat a hasty retreat and, at the time, I thought that might be the last of him speaking on the issue.

I'm surprised in Jon Tron.

He's like.... one of the spergs who actually saw what he was doing, listened to advice, and today went on to big things, such as appearing in the AVGN. Who does that? James Rolfe often never lets guests like this appear.

When Game Grumps (or Grump Garbage, as I will henceforth call it, because thats what it is) started, I just couldn't believe it. "LETS PLAY + STONER HUMOR = FUNNY NEW SHOW!!!! ROFL!" I instantly started trolling around in the comments calling it "Grump Garbage."

The day Jon Tron left, however, I couldn't believe it. Outside of Grump Garbage, I did enjoy his videos with his bird, and reviews of Bubsy and what-not.

It was pretty interesting when he went on AVGN.

Thats when it dawned on me how far he's come. Leaving Grump Garbage was the best decision he ever made.

As usual, they get several things wrong. Jon did not come out as a GamerGater on that livestream, he said he couldn't properly comment on it because he wasn't part of it. Also, the joke was about how Western women aren't oppressed compared to Muslim women. And this website calls itself "Rational" why again?

Normal, reasonable people assuming if they get called out by a swarm like that, they must have done something wrong. Or at least they hurt someone's feelings. They back down and apologize.

These insane cunts take advantage of that by acting in horrible, inexcusable ways as a mob, knowing most people will just give up at that point.

People keep saying this like it's a foregone conclusion which is frankly silly - let's avoid buying into the same game that people can only be of two mindsets. You can be into right leaning principles in some areas and left leaning ones in others.

The problem is people just go "oh your in that camp huh?" and the reality is most of the people "on the other side" are probably middle of the road moderates who would go one way or the other - but would rather go where they don't get henpecked

Brietbart interviewed him around the time of the DNC leaks, Jon was pretty much Team Bernie Sanders but got annoyed with all the stupid stuff going on. Some people started their usual high-pedestal standing and Brietbart were the only ones who actually thought "Hey lets email and ask him to clarify his thoughts" - the interview itself isn't exactly all "I'm totes Republican fuck y'all" - it was more "hey can we maybe try to be adults about this and not scream like banshees?"

Then they don't understand Gandhi in the least, because he was an advocate of nonviolent resistance, WHEN IT WOULD WORK, not a strict pacifist. Ignorant motherfuckers.

They also don't understand resistance of any form at all, let alone the nonviolent sort. Their idea of resistance is raging on social media and rioting in the streets.

I'm surprised it took this long for SJWs to notice Jon wasn't toeing the line... you'd think the fact he basically said "relax" while everyone else was flinging poo on Election Night would've started this crap right then and there.... I guess they were just too spastic to notice at the time.
