Emberlynn is probably the token "Thicc" character which is still mainstream marketable and "empowering", while a naked fat man is simply too gross to vivzie.

I think the problem is that Emberlynn was obviously not designed to be furry waifu and trying too hard to make her sexy by giving her big titties would scream dishonesty.

Note how the Emberlynn poster is already offmodel and made her taller, curvier and slimmed her face and neck. She's canonically 3~ heads tall and i don't know why vivzie picked her out of all characters to sell sexy art.

I see this in "progressive" art a lot, actually. I think they're afraid to been as sexualizing "fat bodies" or whatever looney-bin term they come up with next, so instead they opt to "represent" fridge-mode physiques. Or maybe they secretly resent body positivity forcing them to play nice with the unsexy undesirables and make them bland on purpose? If Vivzie really is secretly apolitical and only in it for the money and power, I could see her doing something like that.

Because Viv puts a warning at the beginning of every video and she also censors the bad words sometimes. I don't really remember the last time she did the bleep censor, but I know she usually does it with the Goetias like Stella and Stolas. I do know she censored the crotch areas and breasts on the fountain in the Oops episode.

And with the content Viv makes I'm surprised they don't just put a forced age restriction.

At most the character would make the episode have an age restriction episode. Big woop she makes less money, it's not like she's already shilling merch out the wazoo, plus it's not like she's not paying the animators that money. Fuck her that's what I say.

Thanks for the feedback. I took people's crits in account and worked on it a bit. Made a copy and treated the original We have a more edited YouTube friendly Ozzie. Thoughts now? Honestly I think it looks both freaky and funny.

Adding onto this, the same could be said for Satan while flawed design I’ve seen many people crush on him (ig bc of his va too). Like it really does say something when the most crushes I’ve seen are on characters like Adam, Lute or Hell even Stella

Viv should take notes from how you responded to the criticism. I like how freakier it is. Less details to draw like the face tits along with the other heads on the face area, weird because it's the embodiment of such a horrid thing, and creepy.

Viv cannot make the sins distinguishable from the other characters somehow. It's always sexyman, sexyman, sexyman. I'd get lankier sexyman/sexual proportions for Asmodeus, though. The black eyes sell the creepiness and uniqueness for me here. Like, Viv should have made it like the other Goetias look the way they do for hell I care, but the sins - they look actually intimidating. They're the worst of the very worst. They're entirely different beasts.


I can imagine your rendition of Asmodeus having Stolas's soft, high-pitched manlet voice when speaking normally. They should've kept the pilot Stolas voice actor, but, as I autistically complain every chance I get in this thread, again, either way, Stolas is a retarded choice. I can also imagine Whoopi Goldberg voicing him because her voice was deep enough in the Lion King for 7-year-old me to mistake Shenzi for a male hyena.

I'm glad you like the extra details I put in the redesign. And I can totally see Stolas's VA for that one of Whoopee, I was also thinking the Beast from Over the Garden Wall as I do like it either being smooth and polite, Raspy and energetic, or low and booming.

The emberlynn stuff may have been a last minute decision. So hence why her material isn't as...detailed let's say.

I'd normally doubt vivian and co would retcon Chaz being alive somehow, albeit maybe mutilated from having his jaw bone ripped out. But if they're willing to keep him "alive" even vicariously through merchandise who knows what they'll do.

Oh also, I kinda get why they made emberlynn merch the character was a runaway hit (often with the kind of fans she was a satire of) but why not karen client from sinsmas? She litteraly has roses and thorns as part of her sinner demon form. SHE would have been perfect for V day merch the hot pink and red is already part of her color scheme.


And don't tell me it's cause "we're not supposed to like her or find her attractive." If that was true then it also should apply to stella. (Also a woman scorned who comes off as a villainous bitch but ironically is most of the time one of the more justifiable "villians" this show has)


My only guess why, is the v day merch was already in development before sinsmas was completed. Before vivzie and co would be surprised how more people sided with the raging, revenge hungry homophobe and not her "I'm 18 and yaoi is kewl" repressed hs fantasy.
