Here’s a thought, what if there is some real bad dirt out there on Destiny, that we haven’t seen?

It is disgusting how people blame Asmongold for his mom’s death. The man has been open about his struggles; mental health, hygiene, and all during some of the darkest times in his life, and instead of showing empathy, dgg twist it into some false narrative of neglect. His mother passed away due to illness, and he’s spoken about it with nothing but sadness and vulnerability. it’s a complete lack of basic human decency. Blaming someone for a parent’s death is beyond cruel, and it says way more about the people making those accusations than it does about Asmongold. Zack’s been real about his life and struggles, and that takes guts.

I completely agree. Nothing is more powerful than authenticity. It has the power to shape perception, to heal, and even to overcome destruction. Asmongold seems like someone who understands that—he moves through the world being nothing but himself. There’s a rare strength in that, in refusing to bend to societal pressure or expectation. I have a lot of respect for a man who can be vulnerable and still rise above the weight of public scrutiny.

I do not personally think Asmongold is good, or based, or smart. My sarcasm wasn't being caught.

I was mainly just taking the opportunity to mention that Asmon is an approval seeking people pleaser cut from the same cloth as Elon Musk, for those that were unaware.

I was trying to make the point that people can and do boil down their support of someone and how much that person is allowed to be torn apart based on how much they agree with their politics. So, for instance, someone who really does like and agree with Asmongold sees Destiny as an enemy because he's a trans-supporting commie Democrat and not, say, that he's a degenerate sex offender (they put that on number two or three on their list). Destiny's dead mom (who isn't dead) would be fair game but Asmon's is off limits.

Everyone's dead mom is fair game is all I was trying to convey.

Ultimately you're preaching to the choir with that type of messaging. Anyone who doesn't just mindlessly cheerlead for their side knows this already, and everyone else will happily ignore their hypocrisy as long they think that the ends justify the means.

There's a case for almost everyone's humanity to be made and IRL I generally try to take that stance. Even if I don't personally believe in it I could argue on Destiny's behalf. I'll just be damned if I'm using this website specifically and trying to appeal to anyone's virtues and the everyday values they apply in their daily lives to condemn or raise up one person above another when the two competitors are attention-addicted pigs who wallow in their own filth to the adoration of millions.

There are some universal truths none of us can escape regardless of the slop merchant we like best i.e. sex crimes are bad and Destiny was molested and Asmongold's mother will always be dead. I take comfort in that.
