When you look at the big picture, it is. Sure, the game made a pretty penny and probably earned it's budget back, but this controversy ensured that KCD will never become a proper franchise, nor will it ever reach the mainstream. Embracer will not get their hit, they got a one time pyrrhic victory thanks to Warhorse shitting on their core fanbase. They are still going broke, they're just not going to end up that way overnight. Something tells me they're a one-trick pony and can't/won't do anything other than KCD and even if they did, the trust in them has eroded forever.

It's not Skyrim or Dark Souls, therefore your average normalnigger doesn't care. Starfield got better engagement from them since at least that game resembles Fallout 4, ie something Niggercattle recognize and can engage with. I actually 100% disagree with this assessment. If anything this game is more likely to make KcD a “mainstream” series in the eyes of the masses. Nevermind if it goes up for a goty nomination which would now be possible with all the wokeshit inserted into the game.
