There is some funny stuff going on with a gimmick account named @Earth_Updates. I'm going to try and recap this with as much as I currently know about the situation. Do note, that there's some stuff that is missing, due to Earth_Update's proclivity to DFE tweets and evidence when things don't go their way.

As far as I can collect, I remember there being a new post from them essentially recycling posts they've already posted several times. This as a result got community noted, as engagement farming is against the site's terms of service.

As a result, they deleted the post, as it gained traction.

This resulted in Earth_Updates doing a Twitter Space essentially with a debate. He sperged out with a mental breakdown sounding like Eric Cartman. One of the allegations is that Earth_Updates is LARPing as a 13 year old on Discord to meet up with kids. Zhang Yong (@zhangyong02, who has constantly been doing similar engagement farming with suspiciously high amount of likes in such a short timespan to not be botted) allegedly ignored anybody suggesting that Earth_Updates has been doing very suspect behavior. He admitted that child grooming on his Discord is not his problem, that the server was unmoderated, and that he barely goes on it.

According to him, looking at (what he believes to be) CSAM is fine if someone is underaged. He tries to say that a 16-year old isn't a pedophile as a result of this Galaxy Gas brained logic.

Here are some interesting tidbits of information that people dug up from the Discord, where teenagers were talking sexually, and there were separate roles for age groups on the Discord server. There was someone else who was suggesting for a minor to slide into his DMs. Interestingly, access to the server shut down when the first Twitter Spaces discussion happened.

Yeah, each time I see new information about this that crops up, it keeps getting worse and worse. Already had to update my post two times to add more information that people dug up.

Also, Zhang Yong bots his likes, I assume the same for Earth Updates. How both of them haven't been suspended yet for platform manipulation (fake engagement) is beyond me, but I don't expect any better from Elon when people call X a "nazi" site, but all I see are botted tweets from retarded trust fund baby commies (with tons of money to waste, bonus points if they're a troon on HRT or a fat lard feminist that takes Ozempic) and retarded hood weebs (niggers).

So 2 things:

Firstly is niggers (and wiggers) getting into anime was the worst thing to ever happen to the genre and secondly, it's honestly very sickening and hilarious on the sheer number of "anti-lolicon" accounts on twitter that end up being actual child groomers and pedophiles.

I've not seen this level of projection and whataboutitsm's since the furry community.

This is partially correct. There was one incident where a canadian blogger took censored screenshots of jailbait threads on 8chan and put them in an article about the site. I think the police may have talked to him, but nothing happened to him.

Given the following, any of the content on the site probably came from actual users and is unlikely to have been planted. There were multiple communities on the site, which were were made for posting jailbait photos or discussion of pedophilia.
Null has spoken a few times about his issues with CP while he worked on 8chan. He's said that "Google's crawlers had stopped indexing 8chan altogether because of the common occurrence of child pornography on the site in the form of ads shilling CP websites." He also said that "The pedos on 8chan were actively trying to pressure modes to allow threads about """"nudism"""" but we held a no-nudity rule firm." Frederick Brennan may have also spoken about those issues after he left the site, but I don't remember.

It’s kinda amazing how stupid Earth Updates was doing all this. Like had he just left it at the one inital tweet and not responded or played “smug superior troll” , he wouldn’t have been exposed. Instead he kept posting and trying to “one up” anyone who called him and idiot, and all it did was expose his own dirty shit.

People need to learn how to shut up again.
