I think part of it is that many of them are so heavily invested in TDS now that backing down on this issue is impossible. It would break them to admit that they were wrong but they also fear the vitrol and hatred if they were to falter in their beliefs and become apostates.

I don't think it's been captured by the right, but I do believe that a lot of this is manufactured opposition from the higher elites to keep us from focusing on the "real" issues.

Sadly, a lot of normal people have bought into this BS. I guess I must hang out in very left-wing spaces (i.e. the tumblr crowd) because it seems like there are so many people who buy into gender and race ideology, that non-whites can't be racist, etc.

I think that there is a level of truth to this. I remember over a decade ago before social justice rhetoric gained mainstream legitimacy, that once in a small while, you might see people rant about your sort of 5 cent issues like fatphobia, or headmates, but here was the kicker: Shit like that was done on places like 4chan ironically, as a joke. It was recognized as a form of niche humor, and everyone viewed it in the context of it being basically satire of something that was so ridiculous, it couldn’t be real. That was what was so funny about it. You know, cause the internet loves ironic humor and they love to make parodies.

You know who else engaged in ironic humor? Trannies and Gay people who first emerged with a vengeance into the public lexicon, in 2013 on platforms like tumblr. Who would proceed to make ironic statements about killing all white people, next to unironic statements preaching about love and acceptance for minorities. Preaching gender equality in between breaths of screaming about how fucking horrible all men were. Promoting gay acceptance and next to that, claiming if you were straight and cis, even if you were a little pre-teen kid just on the site to reblog Naruto gifs and shit, it meant you were a horrible person and needed to listen to yr wacky local kweer elders and be heckin’ educated on why your feelings don’t matter and you should just let kweer people do and say whatever they want because it’s reparations for the horrible injustices they’ve faced!

All this crazy rhetoric that would’ve been immediately recognized as a parody of something that was too ridiculous to exist, gets meme’d into reality a couple years later. So maybe the left hasn’t been infested by the right, but the genesis of many of these hotbed issues come from Accelerationists and shitposters who thought it would be funny to invent fat chicks against fatphobia, and it spiraled into people demanding more ‘rights’ for more ‘oppressed’ groups. I’m not going to make a definitive statement on what this means or doesn’t mean, but I think it’s important to mention.

I was amazed by how many ill people in here have fun circle jerking about how ugly others are and just had to find out what mold has gotten into your brains to spend your free time doing this

Someone I know got raised as a girl by their mother because she wanted a daughter but kept getting sons so she raised them as a girl, bought girl toys and pink room and all. Unsurprisingly that didn't turn out to be very healthy for the child and they got gender dysphoria or what yall call agp and they had to get on hormones and everything, which made their depression better. You have no solution for these people, you just want them gone or forcibly live out their mental illnes, instead of what would statistically be best for them

Only a super small minority believes you can actually change your biological sex, and that's not even a fair representation of what they're saying. They just want to change the definion of sex from the evolutionary (gametes, chromosomes) to the neurobiological one

On top of what everyone else has already said, let me paint a picture for you, okay?

You're a woman who has fled from her home after suffering from severe physical and emotional abuse from your husband, who you know may very well kill you if he ever finds you. Terrified to sleep on the streets, you get in touch with a local women's homeless shelter which gives you a bed, a meal, and access to legal aid services while you figure out your next steps. You need this support to survive. Their legal aid is helping you work through getting a restraining order on your husband, and getting you in touch with a divorce attorney who helps victims of domestic violence on a pay-what-you-can basis.
You try to be gracious about Lilith, the 6'2" trans-identified male staying at the shelter, but he makes you really uneasy. You worry that makes you a bigot. But he's even bigger than your husband and he slams doors without meaning to, making all the women flinch. Your third night there, you go to take a shower - there's only one shower and it's communal, and there's Lilith, totally nude. He stares at you while you try to shower as quickly as you can and get back to your bed.
The next day, you go to the manager at the shelter and tell them what happened. They tell you brusquely that Lilith is a woman and has a right to be there. You say you feel sexually harassed. They tell you, point blank, that transwomen are women, and if you have a problem with that you'll have to leave.
When you get back and talk to some of the other women at the shelter, they tell you two other women - both homeless victims of sexual assault and domestic violence - were evicted from the shelter after complaining about sexual harassment from Lilith. The shelter management said they were transphobic bigots, and that Lilith had the right to be there. They tell you one of the women had to go back to her abusive husband, because otherwise she would be in the streets. Maybe, in another story, you're a woman who was the victim of a terrible and traumatizing rape. You decide to attend group therapy at a rape crisis center for victims of sexual assault. And as the women go around telling their stories and talking about what happened, you notice a man in a poorly-fitting dress sitting across from you, his hands on his lap hiding his obvious hard-on as he gets off to hearing the women talk about being raped. You try to talk to the woman leading the group therapy session, and she tells you in no uncertain terms that Sophie is a victim and is part of the group, and she won't hear a word against it. You eventually learn from the other women that they've lost countless members because of Sophie's voyeurism, which makes them feel unsafe and violated when relating their stories to the group. You decide not to get help for your trauma, because you can't bring yourself to let some man use your story of rape for his sexual enjoyment.
In a third story, you're a woman who landed in prison for doing drugs or stealing, only to find that when you get to the women's prison, there are signs all over the walls advising you to get on contraceptives, offering advice about abortion access. When you get out and try to speak out, you get lambasted in the public as an evil transphobe, making things up to slander poor, innocent transwomen who are probably only in prison because they were wrongly persecuted, anyway.
In another story, it's a high school girl who stops attending after-school sports because one of the guys in her grade decided he's a "woman" now and stares at all the girls in the locker room. It's an elderly immigrant woman being perved on in a women's only spa. It's a little girl being terrified by a man swinging his dick around the changing rooms at the local Y. You get the picture.

It shouldn't need to be said, but all of the above examples are things that have really happened to real women. Countless women driven out of homeless shelters, raped in prisons, violated in rape crisis centers and group therapy sessions, hurt and scared in locker and changing rooms, and more. Trans-identified males make it their mission to invade and violate any private space women may have - and they will lie, cheat and steal to get there - and use the threat of a lawsuit and being slandered as a transphobic bigot as a protective shield to make sure that when they cause trouble, real women are the ones who suffer, not them.

That actually is the solution. When trannies were given tolerance, what did they do with it? They demanded more. They terrorized ordinary people. They invaded womens' spaces. They took over every niche interest, every subforum, every subreddit, every social media platform and banned anybody who didn't kowtow to them. They threatened violence against lesbians and called them bigots for not servicing their girlcocks.

I want you to actually look at this forum and see what they're really like. I want you to see the horrors of AGPs, the butchered surgeries, the social manipulation they employ and the countless stories of their horrible behaviour. You're right that they're mentally ill, but that doesn't excuse their behaviour. Neither is tolerance the solution to the tranny problem. Tolerance has only enabled them to get away with increasingly insane demands. They could have just kept to themselves and left everyone else out of their bullshit, but no, EVERY FUCKING FACET OF PUBLIC LIFE WAS COLONIZED BY THEM AND THAT STILL WASN'T ENOUGH.
