Your faith and love is misplaced. Left or Right, America's leadership will always fail.

The Left is too busy striking at racist, sexist phantoms to actually address the root causes of poverty, which they claim to care about.

The Right wants to cut corporate taxes and transfer the taxes onto the plebians so their rich buddies can have more profits.

You have deluded idiots, and greedy idiots, neither side is worth anyone's allegiance. It's just the matter of which is the lesser evil, and in this case, Trump has shown that his side wasn't the lesser evil.

Nope.
Nigga shut uppppppppppppp. Man is going to abolish the department of education, audit every federal agency, and remove income tax and all you can do is WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

That won't change a thing. They'll just replace that with private services that will charge you up the ass for everything.

Everything Trump does is a big fucking distraction. Gaza, the tariffs, and the Gulf of America shit is there to keep you from noticing that Elon and his friends are bilking the state for all it's worth.

Also, tariffs are just Trump's way of paying for things that corporate taxes used to pay for. He's punishing the plebs for daring to buy foreign goods (in an era where the entire world is interconnected) just so he doesn't have to charge taxes to his corporate buddies. People will still buy foreign goods because they've gotten used to it. And Trump is betting on that.

That, and trying to bring outsourced jobs back to America will just bring back the kind of job where Chinese workers fling themselves out of windows because they're tired of making cheap Iphones. Americans won't even take the minimum-wage jobs popping up left and right during Zombie Biden's, term, they sure as hell won't go for the wage-slave jobs that Trump wants to bring back.

And of course, him gutting the Education sector won't put an end to dysfunction in the schools; it's just that the schools will be privatized so only those with enough money can get educated kids. One more way that this administration's plans will make it hard for people having kids. And yet Vance tells us to have more.

They do realize that you need a carrot and a stick to drive the mule? With Trump and his buddies, it's all stick and no carrot.

Also, LOL the Evangelicals just turned on Trump!

Between this and the tariffs hurting the farmers' finances, the Republicans can say goodbye to that big red blob that voted for Trump in 2024. There's two groups you NEVER piss off when you're running Republican: Evangelicals and farmers. Trump has pissed off both in a matter of weeks. His conservative coalition will collapse rather easily.

The only people outside of Evangelicals and farmer folk are the city people, most of whom already hate Trump from the start and vote Blue anyways, even in places like Austin, Texas.

Except he hasn't abolished the income tax. What the people hope is not what Trump is doing. They hoped he would lower grocery prices. That didn't happen. The opposite did.
He has only been president for 5 weeks.
A broken clock can be right twice a day. Also, saving the state money? At this point, this whole administration is going to cost more money. It's just that the common taxpayer will feel all the burn while Trump and Elon won't feel a thing.
How is the administration going to cost more money when he is cutting down the overall size of government? And it's not just the taxpayer feeling the pain of living costs, even those who do not pay taxes feel the pain due to the overall cost of goods increasing. But with the abolishment of income tax - which has yet to arrive, but may still within the year - the tax payer will feel an overall decrease. And, if inflation stops hitting as hard, people may see a decrease in the cost of everyday goods as well.
If Elon had his way, OSHA wouldn't exist. He's been on record as trying to remove all sorts of safety regulations in his Tesla factories. The Cybertruck he designed had all sorts of safety flaws, from a pedal that can get stuck on the "floor it" position, to no crumple zones.

Also, these corporations would rather swallow bullets than pay their workers a living wage.

Any idiot who thinks they can get living wages from corporations by expelling foreign workers clearly is stuck in the Middle Ages. This isn't the 1400s where the local lord has no choice but to employ local peasants. Corporations can not only outsource jobs, but entire consumer markets as well. China and Europe's consumer markets can be just as lucrative, if not moreso, than America's. So if they can't sell in America because they outsource, so be it. They'll just sell to other places across the world. Besides, it's not like Americans are getting any richer. Not with this administration in charge, anyways. The rising prices of goods thanks to all these tariff wars means Americans have less expendable cash to spend on corporate slop.
Regarding the first half, Elon doesn't get his way because he's not the government. Elon wants to bring in infinity Indians, a sentiment he shared with Vivek, but the latter was fired from his position at DOGE due to that sentiment, so clearly Trump doesn't share it. Elon has one job - trim government spending. If Trump beings floating the idea of disbanding OSHA, minimum wage and serfdom, I'll don a dunce cap on my avatar.

Corporations won't willingly increase wages if they don't have to, that's true (Dodge v Ford helped cement that sentiment) but that's why you force the conditions where they'll want to because it'd benefit them. In theory, if you make it more costly to manufacture abroad, harder to sell from abroad, but the market is too large to abandon, they'll have no choice but to create jobs and manufacture domestically. If there's a lot of jobs around but few people due to low immigration figures, then they'll want to make their positions more attractive. That's the intent with tariffs and decreasing immigration. It's a long term plan. Appealing only to people in the here and now has lead to long term consequences the world over. And if people naturally have more money to spend due to paying less in taxes, it means they have more disposable income to spend on goods that corporations both foreign and domestic will want to peddle here. You're underestimating America's value.
Again, this is you hinging your hopes on things that probably won't exist. The increase in immigration coincided with Americans discovering the birth control pill and having less kids as a result. If they were going to have more kids themselves, there wouldn't have been a need for more immigrants.
'Probably' - Have faith my dude. Be optimistic about things outside your control, otherwise you'll just be pissed off and angry and have no way to fix it, which is a mindset that is entirely self-inflicted.

>opinion
>msn, USAID funded propaganda rag

INTO THE GARBAGE IT GOES. BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, RETARD.

I have more faith and love for America than some supposed Americans and that should never be the case. If you see a leader who is actually doing things with positive results and doing them quickly, then you should be overjoyed. Having the most bad-faith read on the situation possible and being bizarrely bitter just doesn't compute to me.
There is a difference between being cautious about something and being needlessly antagonistic

Meanwhile, in the real world, leftist CBS poll has Trump at his highest approval rating ever and 70% of the country saying he has been energetic, effective, focused, tough, has kept his promises etc. since taking office

Can @LORD IMPERATOR cut to the chase and go back to incorrect Star Wars autism now? None of what he says is true or will come true, what a waste of a keyboard

What ever happened to putting Harriet Tubman on the 20 dollar bill?
God imagine if we had that on our money. So demoralizing

I get this is bait but if you read the article "turning on Trump" means they voiced concern over usaid money. Is this all the left has got in the tank? Anecdotal bullshit articles? Try harder. His approval is 53%.

What does this even mean? By what state mechanism is he taking from these DNC slush funds and putting it into accounts he has personal access to? If he were actually doing this, the deranged leftists who are positively foaming at the mouth looking for any way to attack the legitimacy and credibility of DOGE would have had receipts on the first day.

You're a retard.
