Someone I know got raised as a girl by their mother because she wanted a daughter but kept getting sons so she raised them as a girl, bought girl toys and pink room and all. Unsurprisingly that didn't turn out to be very healthy for the child and they got gender dysphoria or what yall call agp and they had to get on hormones and everything, which made their depression better. You have no solution for these people, you just want them gone or forcibly live out their mental illnes, instead of what would statistically be best for them

It's not REALLY the harder option, it's just harder for therapists in the short term to try to work on someone's delusions instead of just shooting them up with drugs.
