At this point it's just a matter of time till we see Rowling shaking hands with Trump. The troonicide will be complete :story:
You know how you can have a pet personal issue, and really feel strongly about it? And nobody listens or cares?

Well if you someday wake up and the only person in the world who agrees with you on your issue is Hitler himself, you usually end up appreciating Hitler, not changing your mind about your issue.

Rowling and Trump will meet. And she’ll call him Snape or Dumbledore or some shit and the left will lose their shit.

What has Trump not done that he didn't say he was going to do? On top of that he's thrown his base a few bones. I don't know what Doomers are even mad about.
He promised to make us tired of winning. He hasn’t.

If great means powerful then he might've been the greatest president. He killed the British Empire, and the raising power of Germany, with the fewest casualties in the war. He also got his boys club an organization in the Army called the OSS. Created the "rules-based" (American run) world order. However, these organizations haven't really served the American public well.
Yeah, that's what I mean, and thinking about Hoover in relation really drove it home. I'm sure a lot of people here would think Hoover's vision and ideals sound better, but he just was not equipped to spread and enforce that vision as president; plus he's at the natural disadvantage of governing while believing in a smaller role for government. They did him dirty with shit like calling homeless camps Hoovervilles, but that's politics and he did not play that game effectively, especially compared to his successor.

It's interesting now how ubiquitous is the powerful federal government, Trump is called a tyrant for moving decisively to shrink it. It is a good sign though, there's no greater tyrant than FDR and his legacy still casts a shadow.

Why does boden and josh pick a 20 year old literal retard to save the greatest nation on earth from the most evil hitler-like we've ever seen?

Is it for deniability on the 1% chance he even made it onto that roof? It'd seem like hiring a good assassin and then like 12 more to kill him and themselves would be a plan that a half retard could come up with a lot better chance of success than giving an actual retard the rifle
If you hire a good assassin or someone with definitive experience and shooting skill you need another plausible backstory as to how he may have acquired them. Like Lee Harvey. Where his Marine Corps records were conflicted in that some docs had him as an excellent shooter and other docs had him as a non-qual. But this was all prior to more advanced forensics that could identify which records were likely to be forged. The JFK shot was hard to make, getting some retard off the street to do it meant you had a very low chance of success.

Better to have an actual retard where if he fails its whatever and you have enough cover to avoid being involved.

TL;DR: Whistleblower comes forward and names names and files a criminal complaint against the governor of Pennsylvania and implicates the former head of the FBI as well as Joe Biden himself, in the attempted assassination of Trump at Butler.
If this turns out to be true as presented, I will never let my leftie friends live it down. Hell, this might just cripple the democratic party in the eyes of the public, they'd spend the better part of a decade trying to distance themselves from being the party of trannies and assassins.

What has Trump not done that he didn't say he was going to do? On top of that he's thrown his base a few bones. I don't know what Doomers are even mad about.
Well, I suppose there's the day one Ukraine peace, and you could probably nitpick a few of his other actions on the basis of "Well he said he'd do it as X and he instead did it as Y" type situations, but that's gonna be from people looking for excuse to shit on him anyway.

Well, I suppose there's the day one Ukraine peace
This might be the only real issue, but it's not totally up to him. Russia and Putin have to agree as well. Plus not totally break apart NATO by pissing off the EU powers. If he pulls it off this year it'll be quick. If he pulls it off in 6 months it'll be a miracle.
I know some people are upset about Gaza, however I think that was the best possible deal. First Trump's opinion on Israel is well known. However, Gaza is a massive humanitarian crisis and the only way to solve it is to get the people out first. Hopefully those people can get to a safe region in the middle east. I think Trump knows his base will crucify him if those Gazans go to Europe.

Also, LOL the Evangelicals just turned on Trump!

Between this and the tariffs hurting the farmers' finances, the Republicans can say goodbye to that big red blob that voted for Trump in 2024. There's two groups you NEVER piss off when you're running Republican: Evangelicals and farmers. Trump has pissed off both in a matter of weeks. His conservative coalition will collapse rather easily.

The only people outside of Evangelicals and farmer folk are the city people, most of whom already hate Trump from the start and vote Blue anyways, even in places like Austin, Texas.
"Evangelical Leaders"

You mean the fucking grifters that have never had a real political victory in my life time? Those Evangelical Leaders?

I'm so late and far behind as usual and I don't have time to catch up, but everyone in this thread (up to pg 1420) has missed the point about evangelicals being big mad, especially @LORD IMPERATOR (who is missing almost everything else, too). Clock me if it's already been mentioned.

I say this with complete, unironic sincerity--evangelicals screeching about Trump and USAID is a good thing. A spectacular thing, actually. I've mentioned before that USAID has contributed more than a million to Christianity Today. I've also mentioned a while back a book Shepherds for Sale by Megan Basham. For decades evangelicals have been drifting liberal/progressive, from the seminaries to the churches. It's to the point where the few conservative evangelicals that are left aren't even calling themselves that anymore. Basham talks about the different leftists organizations behind the liberal creep, and now it's revealed some of it is coming from USAID and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more than a million has been funneled to different sources with the same destructive goal. Of course evangelical leaders are going to scream and cry over it. They're losing their funding and their ability to keep poisoning the Christian well.

Taylor Swift--I wouldn't be surprised if some of those boos were coming from people aware of Justin Baldoni suing Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, several PR firms, and the NYT for trying to destroy him and his career, to the point of figuratively murdering him in the latest Deadpool movie. I'm linking the website where the court docs and receipts are. It's a ton, but worth the long read. Disney is also involved (because of Deadpool) and while Taylor is carefully not mentioned by name, it's clear she's a part of the whole thing and it's why she's been distancing herself from her BFF and mother of her godchildren. There's a thread on it that I was going to necro but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in discussing it.

As far as the political connection--it's looking like Ronan Farrow might be involved, plus Megan Twohey wrote the hit piece. Those two reporters were the ones who started Me Too and brought down Weinstein...and it's looking like not all is what it seems.

70% of Americans say Trump is doing what he promised to do. Doomers BTFO yet again.
i get irrationally angry whenever i have to sit through that lispy homosexual draw brightly colored lines on extremely simple statistics like he’s teaching elementary schoolers, but i suppose it’s appropriate given the types of people who still watch legacy media

Makes it even funnier that Shapiro got snubbed for VP.

70% of Americans say Trump is doing what he promised to do. Doomers BTFO yet again. :trump: Sad!
Imagine that. A politician that promises to do something, lays out a plan for it, then executes on that pretty much exactly.
Truly, I have no idea why Milei and Trump have unprecedented (for a while at least) approval levels.
It's almost like being upfront and honest works, truly, an impossible to grasp idea.
