Ok, this is kinda off topic but when/where did "queer" activists get this bizarre idea that most people aren't fully straight? I see this shit in fandoms where they argue that there are no canon straight characters (only gay ones) and now they are applying this view to real life. Is there entire argument something like a straight guy having a moment where he probably found his male friend cute one time and that automatically means that he isn't 100% straight? By these people's own logic, that means homosexuality doesn't exist because gay people probably had a moment where they found their opposite sex friend attractive. (Yet I bet you that these people never apply the same logic because it would be considered "homophobic") Is the whole movement behind "queer theory" basically a way for queer activists to cope and claim "Straight people aren't the majority because everyone had a moment where they did something queer. Therefore were actually the majority"

A few reasons: they want to have more power politically by applying it to others more, and to sway people by making them think they are a guru of self discovery. The dating pool for being gay is small, but the likelyhood that the person who said "everyone has a little gay in them" is a spicy heterosexual with a big yaoi/yuri boner is at least 50%. Some people have been online so long they believe wanting and manifesting that two people should be together (shipping) can lead to it happening.

I don't know how much neurodivergence is the influencing factor and how much the difference between people and their formative experiences is a factor.

Maybe generally being neurodivergent does bring with it a tendency to examine ourselves more in some aspects, cause our own perceptions don't line up well with what we're told is "reality".

Like, I can get really hung up on shit. I have to map that shit out or I get lost. The other person, who is neurotypical, might not need that process.

Gender is similar for me. My intuitive understanding isn't great, so I keep circling back to figure out how the puzzle fits. Someone who just starts with a full picture might never go through that process to the same degree."

Agreed, admiring another woman's beauty without feeling jealous or insecure does not make you bisexual. Women are just nice to look at , you can be straight and still find women aesthetically pleasing, likewise for men. It is not gay to find beauty in another human being. People are so weird.

No, they are not going to accept any prescription from America. And as for getting a prescription here through the NHS? The waitlist for a first appointment in some places is nearly as long as the LIFE EXPECTANCY. If you apply for hormones at 18 years old, and live an average length life (which you might not without HRT), you might STILL never get through the list.

(This number is from estimates based on the most recent FOI from the Sandyford clinic. While the list is rapidly getting longer and longer, it is not yet at life expectancy length.)

And as for politics, well we just got puberty blockers permanently banned by our """left wing""" party, who are also in direct cooperation with groups in favour of conversion therapy. So make of that what you will.

Before people point it out: Yeah, the UK is almost definitely better than Trump's America. It's barely been a few weeks and it's already gotten alot worse.
