This just proves 100% Aaron, Nick, Kayla, and April were high and interacted with the kids and Aaron is being evasive because it makes him look as bad as the Rekietas and April (he is)
100% the hedonist degenerates who had a cocaine safe and travel vials for coke on the go were at the very least doing coke and then interacting with the kids. In all likelihood they were doing them in a room the kids weren't allowed into (like the master bathroom), but there's a literal 0% chance that they didn't do blow and then at least one of Nick's 5 kids came in asking for water or something.
This in itself is a generous assessment, there's evidence that he was snorting at church and it ignores the positive test his daughter got. It's very possible they were snorting in front of the kids based on how Nick says cocaine is cool and not a big deal.
I really don't understand all the parsing about who said what and to what degree. It doesn't fucking matter, and the bits being argued over are immaterial.
There were four partying adults in that house drinking, doing drugs, swapping partners, and just generally being sex-obsessed, irresponsible, unalert, and hedonistic.
THE KIDS WERE IMPACTED. If the kids didn't "see" cocaine, they were
around impaired adults, idgaf if the door was closed or they were in a bathroom or the kids knew not to knock on the office door after 9 o'clock. They knew there were 4 adults sharing a bedroom, and they God damn well knew when dad was slurring uncontrollably or stealing their toys and hopping around like a kawaii leprechaun. They knew mom and dad had lots of secrets and "stay out" areas. They knew dad drove too fast and mom laid in bed too much. They knew when April's mascara was smeared down her face in the morning, and they got to know goofy Uncle Aaron, because he tried shoving shit around on the dining room table so they could as actually sit down and have a bowl of something at noon on a Saturday before anyone else was up. And they also saw as Aaron then went back down the hall to the bedroom with their parents and closed the door.
This bullshit about whether the kids literally saw mountains of cocaine in front of them or not, or whether the can Aaron opened was literally Spaghettios, or whether Nick raised the dumbest set of kids on the planet who noticed nothing (he didn't); is also just pointless. THE KNEW IT WAS WEIRD AND WRONG, AND IT 100% IMPACTED THEM - whether or not they registered it, whether or not they understood it, and whether or not they feel they can or know how to talk about it.
Because that shit isn't normal, and it hurts kids. Aaron's kids less than Nick' & Kayla's, but all of them. It was wrong for all of them, fullstop.
(It's like debating or trying to analyze whether Aaron seriously considered buying the smaller house, or whether he was trying tactfully to say "nfw I don't want your murder house and your coke-loaded eagerness is getting creepy" - it just doesn't matter. He declined, and the story moved forward. Nick thinks this shit makes a difference, but it doesn't. Literally none of this hair-splitting moves the needle on the essentials.)
But back to the kids and the drugs and that whole time - Aaron's choices, good and bad, whether told with 99.999999999% accuracy or not, do not change the wrong that Nick did, has done, is doing, and will do in the future. Nick needs to get that through his thick little skull.
And side note - Nick's absolute non sequitur bullshit protest that "my kids are
fine, man; they
love me" is revealing in its construction, and it is the biggest, dumbest cope I have ever seen. THEY ARE YOUR CHILDREN, NICK; YOU HURT THEM AND YOUR FUCKING WORD GAMES WON'T CHANGE THAT. EVER. Kids will love a rock if brought up being told that rock is their parent. And narcs make normal children desperate for love and approval. They don't freely love you; you've just managed to warp unformed little minds. Waow, impressive.
