18 to 19 year olds are very different to people who are like 13 or 14. Most are or have entered the workforce by this time, it's likely most have driver licenses now and, legacy wise, this age has been considered the time you move out of your parents house. Legacy wise since that's unrealistic now. That's why 18 to 19 year olds being treated with the name teenagers is dumb because this age is when you adopt the same responsiblites as an adult which is why we treat them like adults.
Think he means confusing a legal adult (18, 19, 20) to someone still in school without full rights. There's only a two year difference between a 16yo and an 18yo but for the same crime the 18yo will usually get more time unless it's serious.

I’m not. This nigga probably ratted out every contact he had in regards to this and it’s being included in a federal investigation we’re not privy to. That’s the only reason I can see as to why he was given such a relatively low sentence.
They're obviously saying this because he's also an adult, and putting "teenager" in the title, even though technically true, could be seen as a way to willfully underestimate the gravity of the situation to the general public.

an alternative is that some part of the case was weak and feds didn't want to take it to trial. i'm not saying that's what happened but this sentence sucks and fbi has been inept up to this point so my confidence level is close to zero. I hope I am wrong.
