Elon Musk: "The people voted for major government reform. There should be no doubt about that. That was on the campaign, the President spoke about that at every rally."

Elon Musk: "It's not optional for us to reduce the federal expenses, it's essential."

im sure this will get a ton of play with the NPR crowd jajaja

Reporter to Trump: Will you abide by that court's rule blocking the immediate demolition of USAID and major cuts to agencies?

Trump: "Well, I always abide by the courts, and then I'll have to appeal it. But then what's done is he slowed down the momentum, and it gives crooked people more time to cover up the books."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who is leading a task force to declassify documents on the JFK assassination: "Based on what I've been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was held in Congress was actually faulty ... I believe there were two shooters."

Wasn't Biden's economy....y'know, the economy Trump is inheriting......the best ever? Why would you want grocery prices lowered?
No ignore that.
Elon should stay behind the cameras.

I don't think most people can connect with such thick autism.
He should really be wearing a proper suit. I get he's a turbo sperg, but an actual suit without the hat would go a bit towards looking slightly more professional.

One of the most recent copes from the wild is "DEI actually benefits whites" and in particular "DEI benefits white women the most." While this is presented to me without source, just snarky YouTubers and anger if I don't nod along with it, it looks like a good way to try to fearmonger white women. This is boring because that's easy. I did go looking myself and saw that, yes, white women in HR talk about DEI a lot and give each other butt pats for it. This is well known and boring as hell too.

Now I'm wondering is if there's any actual research on who gets hired with DEI at all, and what exactly the Trump admin is doing to dismantle DEI. To me, it looks like inept diversity hires are being canned.

A lot of schools already take pictures of elementary school children during throughout the day and upload them to a parent specific app, not Facebook etc.

Would personally love cameras that parents could drop in on and watch, schools have cameras at entrances and hallways and main offices, why not classrooms?
And that’s even with being comfortable and confident that the school morals and guidance and academic standards, just seeing how lesson plans are being taught and how the kids are receiving them.
If the kids are learning about destroying the walls of Jericho, I want to see if our children are absorbing it and engaging so we can delve farther into it as a Bible study at home.
I agree with you broadly. The thing is that school districts can not control what parents do with this footage, and can be held liable for the footage being used in the wrong way.

For example, maybe a parent decides to log in and start jerking it to a highschool girl and gets caught. The school faces legal issues there.

What about parents ripping the footage and making it into some sort of viral thing without the permission of the other parents? Now the school is possibly liable for breach of student privacy.

Plenty more examples I could come up with, but I hope you get the point.

What would be a good compromise, I think, is districts install cameras to monitor student and staff behavior and the school has to let any parent, who comes down to the office, view the footage of any class their child is in at any time.

Edit: spelling
