Obviously wasting money to rent out the old huge studio space is retarded. If Burnie only wanted to buy the name and IP back because he was a founder and would rather him own it than a large globalist company but didn't plan on actually doing anything with it, that would be admirable and make sense.

The best of the worst case scenarios would be to just do a single RT podcast/Youtube stream weekly or bi-weekly so fans could keep up with them, be entertained, and have a few memberberries thrown in. If he is trying to build a big media company again, it will be a disaster.
It's funny listening to the podcast from a decade ago, he talks about how the company's doing so well because they didn't expand too fast like others did, and that's why they were still going, despite maybe not being as big as some other places.

Hopefully he's coming back with that mentality. I don't think he'll be renting out Stage 5 again, but maybe something like the previous office. Strip it down to the bare bones. Bring back the old crew of Matt, Geoff, Gus, and Joel if he's ready to forgive and forget. Have AH just be a small crew of friends with good chemistry. Hire on a small support staff as needed and that's it.

The best bet, if they can't bring back RVB (And I personally wouldn't unless he's planning on doing a reboot) would be to do a sitcom about a bunch of middle aged guys quitting their jobs to start a business and screwing up, based on personal experience, but I doubt they will.

I cant hear AH without thinking of “an honest discussion” off topic episode

Maybe you guys can educate me but that has to be up there with most pathetic piece of media produced by grown adults right ?

Basically an hour of grown men begging their DEI hire for forgiveness because they made edgy jokes 10 years earlier

RoosterTeeth could really only exist due to the atmosphere of gaming from the early 00’s to mid 10’s. Bungie was the best possible company to make a fan project for, they had great community engagement and basically supported anyone who made anything about their games.

Has Jack ever been funny?
Jack is incidentally funny. He’s someone who’s funny only due to others setting it up, by mere happenstance, or due to the cheerleader effect (someone is unfunnier than him, Michael or Mica).

The worst part is that he’s basic bitch political. He didn’t have the Ron Paul energy of Joel or actually explain why he agreed with Jon Stewart. He’s that mid-2000’s douchebag who never questioned his beliefs. Kinda like the teacher skit from World Peace.

RvB had a mutually beneficial relationship with the Halo series, and once that went to shit when 343 took over, they could no longer rely on it. Meanwhile, all of their new golden geese, such as Achievement Hunter, were quickly driven into the ground due to their own incompetence.

I guess they didn't learn anything from how poorly "All Good, No Worries" did. The most popular video didn't crack 100k and that's only because they pointed out that Blake and Yang from RWBY were on it in the title.

Also, is Burnie not inviting them back for his revival of RT? Probably a smart move on his part but you'd think he'd want Barbara back since she was part of the old crew when they started getting really big on YT.
No way inviting any of the old people back would work at this point, I'm pretty sure every single person who didn't bail is some bleeding heart liberal crybaby now. Just look at how Geoff just existed to cry on stream and beg for forgiveness from blacks and trannies. If he somehow finds a small group that can be funny without crying about politics then I think it could work but he would probably have to focus on either streaming or some other gimmick because I don't think making a brand new lets play oriented channel would work that well with how youtube pushes fast paced screaming brainrot now. That's not even including how most of the last fans that actually watched hated the old stuff because it was problematic. He better hope all the old fans give him a chance or he blew a lot of money.

RvB going down had nothing to do with Halo going down though. Like that anthology series was fine, but then they followed it up with The Shisno Trilogy, which was fucking awful. Time Travel bullshit that had nothing to do with Halo lore. RvB Zero following a new team could have worked, but then that new team was awful too.

One of my guesses for what Joel did was deal with actual professional companies and the actors they hired to do shit. He probably handled that interaction and making it so that Roosterteeth “talent” was just an act to any partner in a production . When they got bought it looks like he got Japanese managed into doing nothing and quit on his own.

My guess is that without him, Burnie, or Matt telling people not to be retarded and actually day drink outside of offices things went to shit.

Lmao why do yall need 50k? For a fucking set why not film it one of y'all's living room or something. I don't get it
