"wont stop halting" is fucking absurdly terrible phrasing

its saying the court wont force the trump admin to unfreeze the frozen assets
No, its clear from the text.
A federal appeals court on Tuesday refused to immediately halt a judge’s order requiring the Trump administration to release billions of dollars in federal grants and loans that remain frozen even after a court blocked a sweeping pause on federal funding.

The Boston-based 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals turned back the emergency appeal, though it said it expected the lower court judge to act quickly to clarify his order and would keep considering the issue.

The Justice Department argued the sweeping lower court order to keep all federal grants and loans flowing was “intolerable judicial overreach.”
That ruling came from U.S. District Court Judge John McConnell in Rhode Island, the first judge to find that the administration had disobeyed a court order.

McConnell is presiding over a lawsuit from nearly two dozen Democratic states filed after the administration issued a boundary-pushing memo purporting to halt all federals grants and loans, worth trillions of dollars. The plan sparked chaos around the country.
The administration has since rescinded that memo, but McConnell found Monday that not all federal grants and loans had been restored.

System is shit.

Here's a fun one.

According to Kennedy, the social security rolls have 6.5 million people collecting social security who are 112 years old or older. How many of those lucky corpses do you think vote Republican? Not many, I'd wager..

I can't say I'm surprised. My grandad died in 2006, his last Social Security check came in 2010. For two years, my mother went back and forth with Social Security trying to explain that he was dead. She mailed them copies of his death certificate at least half a dozen times, and finally had to go to the office with everything she needed to prove her father was dead and buried.

Only after two years and a visit to the state office was she able to get the payments to stop, and return all the money (they wouldn't accept the checks back, she had to deposit them in an account and then get a certified check to repay the money once the issue was finalized, not before). This didn't stop random checks from Social Security still showing up now and again and her having to deposit them and get a bank check to return the money along with yet another copy of his death certificate. Keep in mind, he died in 2006, he continued getting monthly checks (with no way to stop payment or return them) until 2008, but checks randomly continued showing up til 2010.

Now, all that said, I live in his old house. Of course, random bits of mail show up for him to this day, inconsequential stuff mostly. Except one,  glaring example of fuckery in the highest degree, mother fucking mail in ballots. The old man's been dead for nearly 20 years, he never requested a mail in ballot in his life, and sure as shit couldn't have for 2020 and 2024 plus the 18 and 22 mid terms, but there the fuck they were, sitting in my goddamned mailbox. We bought the house in 2016, nothing showed up that year, but 2018 and beyond??? Every single time.

Social Security and mail in voting seem to be tailor made for fraud to be as easy as possible. To this day I wonder how long my mom could have cashed his checks before getting caught, if ever? I wonder if I could have gotten away with casting his votes?

no. the wording is won't halt judge's order meaning that the judge's order requiring trump to unfreeze the aid won't be stopped. they are still saying trump will be compelled to do this.

this was entirely expected however, as i pointed out here.
he was always gonna get snowed here. i imagine it goes to the SCOTUS soon, considering that the appeals court said that they want this done in a timely manner.

The tech bro stuff. Digital ID and neuralink all the sort of ideas that Larry Ellison and the like talk about, more or less WEF ideas scaled down to fit in Trump's new-nationalism model of politics. Its spooky and I don't like it, but again the alternative was more gay race communism so of the two options I guess we got the better deal?
Has Elon actually said he's a fan of digital ID? I'd kind of doubt that. A product like Neuralink is a great thing when it's not network connected, allowing the majorly physically disabled, as in paralyzed in various forms, to actually have some semblance of a life again. The WEF retard idea of being able to read people's minds and or influence them is dumbassed and always has been, and isn't necessarily the same thing, and isn't anywhere near as possible. Musk's not the only one invested in the idea of neural interfaces to control devices, and there's other companies who have managed to bear fruit from the idea as well.

Interesting, interesting, However a less skeptical man than me could say the report on the entirety of the spending is still forthcoming due to blocks by the fed judges but hey who knows, surely there isent another part of this story that might deserve higher billing right?

Here is the final joke, its being used a source on reddit by people who I doubt even click on the article to read it and just shit up in the comments about the headline and how right they are
Uh...that looks a lot like fraud to me.
What a shock.

Look they can gnash as much as they want the scam is out in the open now and it cannot be shoved back into the shadows no matter how many times deranged criminals with a seat in congress cry.

Judges have really done a great job showing they aren't impartial, but simply a more heavily protected political class who don't have to play by the same rules.
