I want this to go further. I want CNN and CBC and all the "serious" political podcasters to have to report on Trump's new plan to rename Earth as "Planet America." I want Trump to declare that New Mexico is now to be known as "Mexico" and that Mexico must change its name to "Old Mexico." I want Canada to be officially renamed as "America's Hat."

I don't care what is or isn't actually renamed. But the people criticizing this have been humorless, language-policing scolds for so long that I just want to see them dragged through the humiliation of being forced to be angry about ridiculous shit that everyone else is laughing at.

Did anyone watch this video of whoever this cunt is? First of all, I don't know jack shit about metals but saying "aluminum is basically electricity" isn't tracking with me. second of all, during the interview she is looking down. it's extremely unprofessional and this broad wants us to take her seriously? geddafuck outtahere.
It's not an uncommon statement; producing Aluminum from ore uses a huge amount of electricity. My shop teacher used to say it was "solidified electricity", and I heard similar when we went on a school trip to a metal works. Bit retarded to say off the cuff without context though.

I've been asking AI about the aluminum statements and the best it can come up with is that aluminimum requires a ton of electricty to produce. So maybe they meant that 'aluminimum is basically electricity' since it requires so much power to make? That's the best I can think of.
We get aluminum by melting a crushing up a rock called bauxite and then running a lot of electricity through it to trigger the chemical reaction that produces an aluminum oxide which is later turned into pure aluminum.
It takes like zero energy to recycle aluminum through and it's practically infinitely recyclable.

What has Trump not done that he didn't say he was going to do? On top of that he's thrown his base a few bones. I don't know what Doomers are even mad about.
Doomers are mad that they don't get a good reason to be mad, so they're saying shit like "Trump taking in Boer refugees doesn't count because he also said Israel good in the EO" as if he promised to nuke Israel.

Right, because there’s essentially no such thing as naturally occurring aluminum. It oxidizes immediately, which is why whenever you see it, it’s a matte silver sort of color.

When you’re machining aluminum, a fresh cut surface is mirror-reflective for a second until it oxidizes. The coolant you might use in a milling machine prevents oxidation for a moment.

But the good thing is that the surface oxidation doesn’t penetrate, it’s just an omnipresent molecule-thin veneer

Yeah, same. I was actually waiting for the interviewer to say "What do you mean by 'aluminum is electricity in solid form'?". But she never did!

What would it take for her to ask her to clarify? Would she just sit there nodding if she said "Our plans for tariffs is burpa durpa bing bong shamalam"?

Yes, it takes shitloads of electricity to make aluminum. The cost of the electricity can be 10 times more than the cost of the ore, so aluminum is usually produced where electricity is inexpensive.

Doomers just want to be worthless and doom. Trump should setup a federal taskforce which targets them on a personal level ie. audits, putting them on the no fly list, etc so that they actually have something real to complain about.

So what would 22 states colluding to ignore and judicially obstruct federal law and the executive branch trying to enforce it be called?
A target rich environment.
"My 1A being violated!" that's not what 1A is. You can continue to say whatever you want, but go and do it elsewhere.
Unfortunately, I seem to remember Jim Acosta getting a court to agree that he had a 1A privilege to be at the white house press briefings, despite literally assaulting a woman while he was pointificating like a faggot. The AP likely has the same privilege to be at them even if Trump doesn't want them there. Remember, freedom of association means you are free to associate with anyone that wants to associate with you, not that you have the right to pick who you associate with.

With Hamas denying the prisoner transfer despite their weakened position I've come up with a theory but it's only based on speculation so take it with a grain of salt.

So Hamas is in no position to be negotiating at the moment as they are in a fight and die or surrender and live position. And they until a few days ago were complying with the prisoner release agreement between Israel and America. For them to suddenly stop is suicidal but also makes no sense considering that their command structure was taken out by the pagers of peace attack orchestrated by Israel.

Trump decided to make Gaza the new UAE and not let Israel continue with its greater Israel plan by essentially handing its reconstruction over to Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Israel not happy with this and after collapsing the Hamas command structure could have usurped control of Hamas and is ordering/controlling them to defy the prisoner transfer/resist in order to justify further military action and kill/clear out the remaining Palestinians to spite Trump and his allies.

Tangentially related we have had another attack using modified electronics. Similar to the Hamas pager holocaust but this time it's Russians and drone headsets with explosives inside of them. Link: https://archive.ph/m7aev

I'm sorry for the long post. In summary I believe that Israel is salty they won't get their promised land, bibi will lose his election over this and are retaliating by attempting to destabilize other geopolitical situations.

Mystical woo that does nothing but make the deluded person doing it feel better about themselves instead of doing absolutely anything concrete at all in the real world to improve their or others' situations. The whitest womanest moment I've seen in a very long time.

I grew up next to a couple of aluminium smelters. They ran on hydro electricity, basically what happened was a ton of water was released from a reservoir high up on a hillside down some massive pipes. The water turned the turbines to generate the electricity and at night, when electricity was cheaper, they’d pump the water back up the hill again. The water outflow from the factory was called the Tailrace and it used to terrify me as a young child, they sent it down these concrete half pipes out into the loch and it was so fast, it looked almost boiling and it wasn’t until I visited Niagara Falls that I saw water quite as ‘angry’ as that again.

Factory is long closed now, and I don’t know where we get aluminium from. Probably China. Anyway, here’s a picture of the hydro pipes on the hill and thanks for indulging my (mildly terrifying) h2O memories of long ago.IMG_0285.jpeg
