In a perfect world - or at least one with shame still ingrained in it - most parents would do a solid job of that. And they did, for a long time.

Nowadays though, I'd argue that the internet ruined parenting as a whole. Similar to how a lot of students are still using ChatGPT to write their essays, most parents hear that the child is not crying when it is holding a tablet and use it as a way to avoid actually interacting with the child. They might pretend that it's for the child's benefit, since it keeps them engaged and they're learning stuff, but it's bullshit. They're learning next to nothing and their dopamine receptors get fried, ruining them for decades to come. All in exchange for not having to deal with a crying child for a few minutes a day.

This "hear no evil, see no evil" stuff was one of the final nails in the coffin of parents being very hands-off with their children. We're almost at a point that having a curfew before midnight is considered child abuse, while - ironically enough - no one is legally able to tell the parent to fuck off with their lazy,hedonistic nonsense until it is too late.

Came across a "related" vid from the YT "algorithm", by "Jessica Kellgren-Fozard", with this rather "hot take" title, and someone who looks like a "transgender" in the thumbnail. Dunno if "BreadTube" member, but certainly looks such. Needless to say, haven't watched.

That title alone is such an in-your-face "gaslighting" attempt. So-called "identity politics" BS is indeed ruining "society", and one would have to be naive or "socially engineered" to not see it. There's that list I put together in the election thread, on how it is.

I have noticed that theses Breadtubers tend to have very slow upload rates on their videos, but when I watch their videos they don't seem all that high effort?

Like their editing isn't particularly high effort, it's just them talking over pictures, while reusing the same disingenuous arguments presented in a "convincing" way.

I saw how Shaun barely uploads videos, but all his videos get over a million views despite people not really talking about them much. Is this a case of the audience is small, but they huddle around fewer channels so they get more views than a topic or side with more support but there are more channels so the views are more spread out?

I can't fucking stand Shaun btw have no idea why anyone on here legitimately took his recent video seriously, guess they psychotically hate Grummz (that's fine to dislike but my god some people are utterly psychotic around him) so much they don't care.
