3 out of 15 is 20% of all crashes. It's significant.

Okay, fine, I'll do the math.

From 2004-present, a period of 20 years, we've seen 16 out of 187 F-22s lost due to accident.
From 2014-present, a period of 10 years, we've seen 15 out of 1000 F-35s lost due to to accident.

16/187 x 100% / 20 years = 0.43% per year
15/1000 x 100% / 10 years = 0.15% per year
Just in the USA:
12/638 x 100% / 10 years = 0.18% per year

In proportion to the number planes fielded, about 3 times as many F-22s are lost every year as F-35s.

F-35 total program cost of $2T is an estimate for a program lifetime from 2000-2088 and thousands planes. So when you take into account the scale of the program, it's not as insane as it sounds. At the end of the day the per-unit cost is 20%-40% less than the F-22.
Alright, Im just saying taking all that into consideration, and thank you for doing that math, where did all that money go to if the unit cost of the f-22 was so much higher yet the program was so much cheaper and they have very similar crash amounts despite having so many more units

Was the sheer volume enough to account for this? I guess to a laymen taxpayer when I read how much we spent on this fighter I excepted 1 crashing to be IMPOSSIBLE forget a dozen or so.

You spend all this money to develop a plane that dosent have a more impressive safety rating than the one we spent a fraction on

Just on an international level it makes us not look great, do you think Its just recency bias on my part though and that its more standard than we might think for "significant" if not massive amounts of planes will simply fail for reasons not beyond sheer chance?

Apparently the events in Lincoln Heights, Ohio are in response to a group of armed Neo-Nazis who displayed their signs at a nearby overpass not being arrested by local law enforcement. To my understanding the individuals were ordered to disperse but that was it and now the police are now defending their own actions.

Why the hell are blacks freaking out about a bunch of Kanye West fans?

The National Socialist Movement isn't really relevant anymore relatively speaking so these guys seem to be its replacement in the Neo-Nazi sphere of far-right groups in the USA. To some it is all a big act but there is probably a handful of hardcore believers.

To get an idea of what to expect here is an image of the Blood Tribe and a image of the Goyim Defense League:

if your leader is going to have a collared shirt everyone should have a college shirt simple as that.
why does every single Neo-Nazi leader in America after George Lincoln Rockwell look like a bunch of trailer trash

Insider info, since I'm scheduled to take one out in the spring. Insurance is the one demanding everybody take the playscapes out, with policies doubling or even tripling for a restaurant if they want to keep it. This is coming on the heels of health inspections finding these things the dirtiest locations in just about any restaurant. Most places weren't bothering to clean and sanitize them.
Late reply but wanted to point out that this is one of those unfortunate tragedy of the commons. Insurance makes sense, and making things clean so kids don't get sick makes sense. Cleaning the playground is going to be difficult, are you going to have a full sized employee go through the slide wiping it down? Probably not.

So, it makes sense for insurance to ask them to pull them out to lower rates. But now the kids don't get sick as early and as often, so they don't build up their immune system as strong and as fast. They're also exposed to less "stuff" so they develop all these weird allergies as they grow up.

It's one of those things where, unfortunately, some retarded little kid has to get sick and die from the playground so that hundreds or thousands of other kids can build proper immune systems.

Canadians: "yeah sure, we're being replaced by 3rd worlders, a crack shack of a house cost as much as a literal castle in Europe and we can be hit with hate crimes if we ""misgender"" someone, but at least we've got free healthcare americhuds"
