Politico is trying to obtain secret grand jury documents from the Trump J6 grand jury because they brought in Kash Patel to testify, and were forced to give him immunity to do so. So the tactic they’re going for is to dig up what should be secret proceedings in order to tar and feather Kash and prevent him from excising corruption in the FBI.

I just happened to come across their petition in the DC federal court docket so I don’t think anyone has reported on this yet. But it makes sense that that’s their plan.
My face is going to be so shocked when the courts refuse and it leaks anyway and then nobody pays any consequences for the leak.

I don’t know what the court will do. It’s DC, the most pozzed and corrupt court in the entire country. And they have a local rule that basically says if the info from a grand jury criminal proceeding is already public, they have discretion to reveal the documents. I would not put it past the court to do it, though I think it’s a big reach in any non-pozzed district.

Trump's Gaza take over of Gaza is retarded, but there are correct actions buried in the rest of the speech.
Or let me rephrase. The US taking over Gaza is retarded. A non-arab, non-jew Third Party taking over Gaza - hell the entire fucking levant - is a great idea. I think we need to give Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and parts of Iraq and Egypt to Japan. They have absolutely no horse in the race, and their train system runs on time.

Gaza is fucked for a decade at least. Its mostly inhabitable. It would be best for the occupants to go somewhere that hasn't flattened and isn't riddled with UXO, somewhere among other Arabs, and focus on rebuilding their lives instead of terminal hatred of the eternal jew to their own determent, or lingering in refugee camps for yet another decade to two and falling even more in inbred backwards retardation.
I mean anyone can see why this impossibly optimistic, but its a good idea.
I think the reason trump is talking about administering Gaza and relocating the people is largely a pressure tactic in regards to Hamas holdouts and threatening to remove their human shields/clear the way to implode their tunnel networks.

Otherwise the only possible benefit I see to occupying some sand next to Israel is that it’s close to Iran and we could be less reliant on Israel for that.

A media outlet that was engaging in modern payola is trying to prevent an antagonistic law enforcement officer from getting the ability to go after them?

Guys...I am shocked.

I hope we get to see a Newsweek style FBI raid on Politico.

Brent Hawkes is part of the Metropolitan Community Church. Described as a LGBT-affirming mainline Protestant Christian denomination, they collect your tax dollars through USAID and install a weird sex pervert in your town/city to preach anything but Christian values.

This is extremely interesting to me. I didn't realize MC Churches are a whole denomination, much less backed by USAID.

I'm not gonna derail the thread with doctrinal debate, but once I was looking for a church to attend in a new city and happened to check out an MC Church. It was nuts. There were a lot of people there who honestly just needed spiritual community, but the whole service consisted of pop culture references and self-flagellation over innane shit.

Practically speaking, it was no different than any other denomination I've attended, but it was so cringe I couldn't take it.

I think homosexuality is a sin, people should be discouraged from leading sinful lives in general, but that doesn't mean we need to go full ISIS and toss gays from the roof.
Even making that statement is buying into their concept though. The Bible does not say to kill fags, just that they will not go to heaven and that they’re sinners. It also goes on to talk about the lusts that try to tempt men and include homosexuality as one of them.
They want people to assume the Bible wants you to kill all fags because then they seem reasonable by comparison.
Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed just because of gay people. They were destroyed because they such great hives of sin that they couldn’t be saved no matter what.

*snip*

Also--it's always amusing when new posters waltz in here, pretend they've actually read the thread when they haven't, disingenuously try to act superior by pretending to be "level headed" or "neutral", proceed to insult the thread's collective intelligence, refuse to add to the discourse when asked, then scurry back to their NPC hug box and say, "Well, I tried, but they're all a bunch of (insert sexual act analogy) over there". Many sad cases.

What you have described is the "death of debate" which is the final goal of any 'true believer™️' in any ideology. It boils down ideas into "what I believe is good and ordained by God, who I do not believe in, and that means you're ideas are bad. End of discussion." Which is how you get to the point we're at today. Where reasonable people have to take take extreme actions to fix problems that have been allowed to get worse because they have gone unaddressed for so long. This isn't conservative vs. liberal issue this is 'do something' vs. 'do nothing because it's taboo' issue.

In a reasonable society where we could have a proper discourse over sensitive topics, we would discuss these issues and address them as they arise in a reasonable amount of time with measured response. Instead of letting them faster like an infected wound where we now are having to consider cutting off limbs to save the rest of the body.

Remember to always remain open to debate, because if you're right you'll always win, and sometimes get to clown on someone's really really stupid idea.

So when do we get around to cleaning out the colleges?

Not to PL here, but I've listened to multiple professors go on anti-trump rants, equating him to hitler and the holocaust. God the end of academia cannot come fast enough.

How can we get these communist professors out of schools?
LSU tried to fire one such professor just a couple weeks ago. Then a judge ordered them to allow the guy back in to keep teaching.

LSU must immediately allow law professor Ken Levy to return to teaching, and it's barred from interfering with the professor's employment and from violating his free speech and due process rights, East Baton Rouge Parish District Judge Tarvald Smith ruled Tuesday night

"Your client should get back to the business of training lawyers and let professors teach, especially those that are tenured," Smith told LSU's attorneys from the bench

Levy sued LSU over a teaching suspension imposed last month due to student complaints after he used vulgar language to criticize Gov. Jeff Landry and President Donald Trump.

From The Hill: "Stars flee Kennedy Center groups after Trump seizes chair" (archive). It seems these people only care about the performing arts so long as they're getting paid to do it and the right people are involved. All these famous stars running away! Whatever shall we do without... Renee Fleming. Uhhh... Shonda Rhimes (gesundheit)?
