Kingdom Come Deliverance - Or how I stopped worrying about SJW and love Bohemia | Now with betrayal and a lot more niggers. "Historically accurate." BlackRock ruined the series.

By what metric? It's below Starfield, lmfao
The game failed as a AAA product it so badly wants to be and it failed to set up a franchise like Embracer wanted. The game is just another flavor of the month slop and Avowed is about to steal it's thunder from the normalfags as it is much easier to get into than Kingdom Come.
Over 200k players on steam with a 90% positive review score and apparently nearing 2 million sales, I would call that a commercial success. They did all of this in a fucking week by the way. Saying it’s a failure is the biggest cope and I fucking hate all the wokeshit that was put in.

Failure? I wouldn't say that, but a success? Nope, these are baby numbers. Starfield might have gotten worse reviews but got higher sales and numbers. KCD2 might be the king of the woke shortbus, but that's all that it will ever be, and Vavra's spergouts and forced wokery ensures this will be the last game of it's kind. I highly doubt Embracer will spend so much money again on merely 200K players on Steam, I thought this game sold a million copies already? Why are the numbers so low on the key platform? I guess the chinese buying the game at a fraction of the cost might have had something to do with it to inflate the numbers, seems very fishy.

Wake me up when it passes 330K on Steam, then we can pretend this is better than Starfield.

Of course it is a success. Too much goodwill and then you have coordinated defense of this game everywhere. It's like the USAID paid for all this shit before Trump pulled that down.

The thing to watch out for is whether the next game from Mr Vulva Man will do well or worse, depending on how fans react to this game.

You listed so many complaints, including bugs that break some quests completely, and conclude that it's still enjoyable? Giving me "Aside from the cockroaches, rats, weird-tasting foods, and annoying girlboss maitre'd, I had a great time at the restaurant!" vibes here.
It's a quest way in the beginning of the game. When the quest initially broke I turned off the game very angrily, but what i played before was so intriguing, it made me come back and give it another try. When there is 20-30 hours between bugs, it can still be enjoyable.

Don't get it twisted, I almost put the game down for good and I was very, very angry. However, the rest of my complaints aren't deal breakers like the bugs would have been, it is CRITICISM. Criticism doesn't mean that I hate something, it means these are the ways that whatever I am criticizing can improve - nothing more. This is a very normal way to engage with media, unless you think you can only consoom something uncritically or hate it unconditionally.

I don't like Katherine, but other people have played through KCD1 and are playing 2 right now, and they loathe Hans Capon in both games. That isn't a contradiction - it's not a requirement to think everything about a piece of media is flawless to like it. They just dunk on Hans every chance they get and go on their merry way.

I have also listed a lot of things I like about the game in my criticism, and the fact I haven't been able to put it down for almost two weeks probably means I like it, despite its flaws.

I know that it's not popular to like this game here, but I don't give a fuck. I'm not gonna get peer-pressured into saying something I don't believe, nor do I particularly like being told what to think or say, be it from wokies or from people that are ostensibly on "my side". I put my thoughts in here, because there may be other people who find value in it. And if nobody does, that's fine, too.

I will say, to this game's credit, I do like how the game introduces crossbows and even primitive firearms to the setting. This doesn't excuse combat being a downgrade from the first game or the Master Strike only working for swords now, but if the combat WASN'T screwed up, it would be interesting to see if long ranged builds could be entirely viable this time around. I would love to see when along the development pipeline things went to shit here.

>Cumans the game tells you to literally serve food and drinks like a bitch at the start are mini-boss enemies if you choose to kill them, like Henry should(and make the local gypsy village permanently aggroed since the devs didn't playtest this shit)
>Mandatory main quest boss that caps off Act 1, a bandit leader, only takes two hits to die so that dipshit normalfags who haven't been leveling up can beat him
>No options to talk him down for diplomatic characters or to take cover and assassinate him with a bow for ranged builds, or even sneak away for rogues

PLAYER CHOICE, AM I RIGHT?

you people are straight up schizophrenic with your insane elders of zion bullshit. enjoy being miserable sacks of shit posting rightoid lunacy all day while cool guys get to enjoy a great game.
Its interesting, deranged lefties like yourself always want to die in the most insane hills. Of all the games to make multiple posts about how you're "totally not angry the chuds don't like it and are just post trolling" you pick the game with the gay underaged sex scene.

I respect you standing up for your bad opinion, but for the love of God, play more video games made before 2016. You'll be blown away at what a real RPG like Fallout New Vegas can offer you.
>real RPG
>New Vegas

Look man, I like New Vegas and all, but it is sure as hell NOT the epitome of the genre lol. The game was made in like a year, has bugs galore, and the PC release needs like 3 different mods to run on modern hardware without imploding. The DLCs have some genuinely terrible writing: Ulysses is a cringeworthy self-insert of Avellone whose super special-ness absolutely dominates every single DLC, and Lonesome Road is absolutely ruined by his hours and hours of fucking monologuing. There's a bald Lesbian hunting down Elijah not because he's literally insane and wants to destroy the world but because he's a meanie homophobe (yes, replay old money, she will literally tell you she had no idea about Elijah's plan she just wanted to kill him for breaking up her and Veronica). The "humor" in Old World Blues can be woefully 2011 xD so random at times. Etc. Chris Avellone is the Ur-example of a progressive English major high on his own farts who fucking hates video games and wants to make sure you lame little chuddies know it. The only reason the game is actually a game and not 10 hours of him screaming into a microphone about how Fallout is actually stupid and gay is because Josh Sawyer was in charge and his coworkers physically restrained him from doing so. The game is also hamstrung by being based almost entirely on Fallout 3, and no number of quality of life improvements can prevent it from feeling like absolute jank.

Again, I don't hate New Vegas, in fact I quite like it, but calling a Bethesda-published Action RPG from 2010 a "real RPG" is laughable to any sperg worth his salt. Not even getting into how the game's fanbase has been entirely flooded with troons in the past decade. If you're going to be a hipster you could at least shill for some proper turn of the millennium jank like Morrowind.

PLAYER CHOICE, AM I RIGHT?
Remember when Runt was the only character you actually had to kill in the first game?
Remember when he was strong enough to be a filter to a player who wasn't levelling properly?
Remember when you could just run in circles around the crossbeam and snipe him with your bow if you wanted to?
Remember when they gave him a helmet in Hardcore Mode so you couldn't just cheese the fight by stabbing his stupid, bald head?

Boy, sure am glad Embracer got rid of that nonsense.

Failure? I wouldn't say that, but a success? Nope, these are baby numbers.
The first game took 6 years to reach 8 million, getting 12.5% within the first day and approaching 25% within a month is a success for this type of game.

If we're treating KCD2 by the same standards as the first game, sure...but do you really think daddy Embracer wants those rookie numbers after their investment? No, they see this as a failure as far as trying to start a long running franchise. I doubt we will see a third game at this rate.

Also, they're offering Twitch stream unique DLC for people who watch the official Warhorse stream, are you kidding me? I know GAAS titles do this, but a single player title? There you go, this game is just pure normalfag goyslop, just without the numbers these games usually have.

I’m really sick so I decided to play more of this game despite thinking it was kind of boring for the first few hours I played it. Please rate me dumb if you’d like, I’m going to give my impressions of the game below.

I have about 25 hours played now and just exited the first act. The first act has one of the worst paced quests I’ve ever seen in a game. Henry gets tortured, and you have to navigate a huge castle, preferably stealthily, with a huge encumbrance debuff that makes you creep around at a snail’s pace. Then you’ve got to escape the castle and walk for seemingly forever through a dark, bland forest.

Previously, I mentioned that the game felt pretty pointless and poorly paced. The game should really steer you into completing some more of the main quests before weening you off to do your own thing. I spent a lot of time doing side quests because gaming has programmed me to take care of those before the main quest. You should absolutely follow the main quest for quite some time. I missed out on a lot of crucial skills, etc. by going my own way, which was very annoying.

I’m not very far in the second act, but I can tell the “woke” topics are about to ramp up. Toward the end of the first act, a Mary Sue introduced as a mysterious character manages to save your bacon. It wasn’t bad, just predictable. There was a nomad camp in the game that had a bunch of uninspired characters (except for one guy that is absolutely crucial to speak to because he teaches you the ‘I Win’ button). The hallmark of bad character writing is when you need to justify a character’s purpose for existing. All of the characters in this camp had lengthy expositions that made me roll my eyes. I felt this exact same way when I accidentally ran into the Musa character.

What bothers me the most about this game up until this point is that it is a viable option to talk shit to just about everyone who has dialogue options. Suddenly, when you are introduced to Musa, Henry is a meek retard. Musa basically goads you into calling him a nigger when you first meet him, and it should have been an option. If you’re going to impose a moral conundrum upon your player, give them the option to be absolutely reprehensible (through your eyes), and then react accordingly. Please let us act as “badly” in game as you think we want to act against you and your ideals in real life… or be consistent, for fuck’s sake.

Again, I’ve only started act 2 but at this point of my own experience, I wholeheartedly believe that the leftist/woke ideals were tacked on at the last minute. Aside from the nomad camp shit in the first act, which definitely seems tacked on because of the aforementioned NPC that you almost -need- to speak to who could have been any NPC located anywhere in the game, it was OK. It’s still a middling experience at best and a slog at its worst right now. I haven’t sighed or rolled my eyes for being lectured yet, but I do feel it’s coming.

I’ll leave off on this last note because few will read this and I will be bombarded by ‘dumb’ stickers for speaking positively of the game. Kuttensburg has an intricate underground tunnel system which is accessible from the cellars of some shops. They are just doors that lead into a large tunnel system… and they’re barren… it doesn’t make much sense to me. Do the shopkeepers use these for anything, or do they just pretend they don’t exist? Why aren’t these areas more secured? Despite it, I had a blast explore these tunnels, picking locks into shops, and just going on a looting a spree like some sort of serial burglar. Probably the most fun I’ve had with the game, which amuses me because the lock picking system is such a mess.
