I’ve accumulated 450+ hours in KCD1. I consider it top 10 in my all time RPGs. I was completely enthral for KCD2 until I learned how Vavra sold out. I cancelled my pre-order and will never go back. I do not want to see a game, characters and a storyline so badly desecrated - so as far as I am concerned, KCD started and ended with the first game. And I will never slate that game like some of these revisionist cunts here. I am in fact replaying it right now.

One of the greatest shooters of all time - Radiant Silvergun - has since its Steam release seen just over 4% of all users complete either Arcade or Story mode. Why? You will see plenty of tough RPGs with a low completion rate on Steam; Divinity Original Sin EE: 11.6% and Divinity Original Sin 2: 10% are just two in my library. Yeh I guess they are shit too. A game people don't finish means none of the content the devs worked on gets seen. Not only do you deprive consumers of their money but the artists of having their art seen. I will bet more people will finish Avowed than KCD2 and that means it will have more of a presence in pop culture even if they found it sucked. Outer Worlds is frankly only remembered because it sucked but lost of people played it. KCD was basically forgotten until it could be used in the culture war only to have Vavra change sides.
