Of course the media are going to be rough on him -- that's their job. They did it to every other president. Plus the fact that Trump gets all butthurt when things don't go his way just make them go at him that much harder.

Let's face it: Trump is something of a lolcow himself. (Thin-skinned, whiney, can't take criticism, but has no problem dishing it out to others.) He freaks out over Saturday Night Live, for fuck's sake -- they've been making fun of the president since Ford was in office. Dude better put on his big girl panties and suck it up. Otherwise, he's in for a looooong four years.

They really, really didn't.

I'm glad the media is being antagonistic for once, but it's hard to take their antagonism seriously when they have regularly fellated the president for my entire lifetime. Whether it's stupid shit like lobbing softball questions at Obama or becoming W.'s personal PR brigade to get us into Iraq, the media has been perfectly fine cheering on the government until a guy who doesn't play by their game got elected.
