Infighting is probably gonna be the most realistic answer to any question like this. The half-dozen or so factions that make up the democratic party's coalition are going to go from teeth clenched teamwork to a hot war when they can no longer deny the democrats aren't winning. In particular, the moderates and the radicals are gonna be at each other's throats.Their money runs deep. There's private investment management companies out there with trillions in assets, and a fair number of them are in the Democrats' upper echelons' pockets.

i don't see how they rebrand at this point. for the past 20 years they've been shifting the entire party away from the concerns of normal people to appeal to exclusively freaks, degenerates and minorities and they need them all to show up in record numbers in elections to even have a shot at winning.
