Yeah, Clownfish TV is stirring the pot again, claiming IDW Comics is finished because of that whole controversy with an artist drawing Sonic with transgender breast scars. Some fans are outraged, arguing that Sonic is 15 and shouldn’t have those scars since he’s not transgender. But honestly, have these people not seen the mountain of Rule 34 content featuring Sonic and the gang in far wilder situations? If IDW were to lose the Sonic license, I highly doubt this would be the reason. There are way bigger factors at play when it comes to losing publishing rights.

I'll go even further and add that they're using the "Sonic is 15" shit based of the Sonic movies, when Sonic age in the IDW comics I think correlates with the games more than anything, where Sonic's birthday was considered canon in one of the games. Really, the artists can do whatever they want on their free time, if it doesn't end up in the comics, I doubt SEGA will care that much.

Exactly! Clownfish TV always seems to get worked up over the existence of fanart, as if it’s some shocking revelation that everything gets drawn in some form or another. It's the internet fanart is inevitable. And yeah, that body pillow fanart of Geeky Sparkles? The reaction to it was way over the top. If you’re in the public sphere, especially in geek culture, fan creations are just part of the deal. Getting mad about it feels like a waste of energy.

I mean, these guys waste time and energy on everything. This ain't all that different for 'em, frankly I dunno what's dumber and sadder gettin' mad over a simple fanart movement on Twitter (which is harmless, I just have issues it feels like panderin' in some cases) or idiots now gettin' worked up over the SonicxShadow paring and still using the movie as their "gotcha" argument.

Complaining about Sonic fanart? 🤦‍♀️ Have they both been living under a fucking rock? Sonic fanart has always been composed almost entirely of disgusting degenerate weird sh!t, due to Sonic's popularity amongst furries.

Didn't Sega recently make Amy & Shadow official? Like, Sega had a crossover Sonic promotion with Sabrina Carpenter of all people (I think on TikTok?), and it was revealed Shadow took Amy on a date to see Sabrina Carpenter/Shadow thought Espresso was a bop. So, not sure how the Shadow x Sonic fandom can claim the movie as evidence of their fav yaoi pairing as being cannon.

Not really, like it was basically this Q&A thing on Twitter/youtube stream where fans would send questions, an during one Amy said how she took Shadow to a concert, cause she thought he needed to have a good time once. Just everyone joked it was a date. As for the SonicxShadow thing, what I meant is idiots on Twitter using the movies as a "gatcha" in a way "your fav paring is wron' and you should feel bad"

I like a lot of other stuff in this wheelhouse so these two keep popping up in my recommendations. I cannot properly describe how much I hate these two illiterates. The OP describes it as a local morning show but it’s so much worse. I’ve never seen or heard such badly researched, inane, dumbfuck takes. Is there actually an audience for this shit? Socialblade says it’s slowly falling off entirely but I can’t believe anyone would actually seek it out in the first place. Even when they’re “right” they arrive at the correct take via a road of completely braindead stepping stones that makes anyone with an IQ over room temperature want to pull their own hair out.


This goes to show how fucked the YouTube recommendation algorithm is, I guess.
