I knew from the minute Kayla appeared on his show that something was off about her. I couldn't pinpoint it, but she seemed a little weird. And this was like 2019/2020 when I would try and put Nick on in the background almost every night. The whole "content creator's wife" thing seems like it always ends up leading to shitty results.

Back then, I thought that it was probably inevitable that Nick would get involved in some scandal. And I knew it would involve his wife. But I thought it would be something mundane like the AVGN "5:30/No Time" meme or Kayla getting too involved with the show and messing up Nick's content or maybe wedging herself into the show long past the point any sane viewers wanted her. If only that were true, given Nick came out swinging (heh) hard with the Hedonism 2 scandal and Bottlegate and it only went downhill from there.

Whatever the case, I think we can all agree that Kayla Rekieta is a pill popping whore and the very definition of a slatternly woman.
That's because even back then you could tell she was on something. She came across like one of those socially awkward girls who self medicates with ADHD meds. Alternatively she came across like an actual schizo on actual schizo meds. From what I remember of her first appearance she was jumping all over the place mentally and constantly changing her vocal cadence like people who when they are "trying to hold it together". You ever see one of those videos where someone high tries to convince their boss or supervisor or a cop that they aren't high at all, and it's obvious to literally everybody but themselves that they definitely are high? That was what Kayla came across like.

For the tech nerds who care to figure out the brand. I googled logos but others would know better. Electrolux on the right?

Electrolux isn’t Korean either last I heard.

That's a pretty high end Swedish brand.

Floor vents are 4 inches wide for laundry rooms.
lines.pngred.pngred2.png
So everything along the green lines are 4 inches or 10.16cm, using this to measure the width and height of the washers.
Width: around 69cm
Height: around 0.9x Ethan Oliver Ralph
Diameter of drum is around 60cm

This is the closest model:

Look how massive this thing is:
1739529973345.png

It can wash around 16 pounds of laundry according to google. This is adequate for his large family. For any washer that's larger, he'll likely need to buy a commercial unit.

I'm at a loss of words. Why even lie about this? Clearly his laundry room is more than capable to handle the family's dirty clothes. Just do a routine every 2-3 days, or collect them and do it over the weekends.
Imagine using an entire nation to cope with the fact that you're too lazy and useless to do basic fucking household activities.

The rekietas seem like the scum who eat off paper plates because they're too lazy and low class to clean
>seem like
No need to doubt yourself.

It’s Nick Rekieta. Lying comes as easily to him as breathing. Sociopaths are always bored, so telling lies and spinning crazy yarns is how they entertain themselves, especially if they can turn it into some major drama that upsets innocent people.

Have you SEEN their kitchen? They absolutely eat off paper plates and don't throw the trash out until its overflowing.
I have learned recently that for some reason it is totally acceptable in some parts of the US to eat off paper/plastic plates.
Which combines very well with another fact I recently learned, that some people over there still use massive wood burner ovens as central heating for their houses.

I am not sure what exactly is going on in these parts of the US, but they seem to have stopped developing past the 1950s.

Some places don’t have gas or electric service at the street, and if your house is small enough it’s often cheaper to run a wood stove than it is to install a huge propane tank or pay for utilities to be run to the property. My parents actually live in a suburban neighborhood and only use the furnace for the second story of the house because it’s cheaper to heat the downstairs with just the wood stove. Whole place stays beautifully cozy. Plus, if you have a wood stove you can still keep your home warm even if the utilities go out for some reason.

There’s no excuse for eating off of paper plates day-to-day, though.

He knows that the child neglect is the worst, most unforgivable accusation levied against him. The one he can't just double down and say "it's actually good to do that" about.

He thinks lying about the washer will turn "he never did laundry because he was a lazy, child neglecting druggie!" into "he couldn't keep up with laundry because 7 people is too much for his tiny Korean washer to handle!"

He didn't realize we can figure out what his washer and dryer are.

is because it shows how she's not a very sympathetic "victim."
I dont know how bashing the unequivocal victim (of a very stupid "crime") would help on this case, specially considering the radfem prosecutor and a very liberal State. Trying to prove she waved her expectancy of privacy is the way if they have material proving she shared nude pictures publicly but, if it is not the case, I think the best way to go about it is to earnestly own the mistake and eat the misdemeanor with humility.

I´d bet the negotiations for a plea fell off because they were over confident either because of the hacking issue or whatever...

Pretty much what he’s doing. He’s just lying to avoid the fact he’s a neglectful druggie

While these are pics from 2018 when they bought the house, if he replaced them I assume we would have heard about it.

A short correction: he replaced these with Samsung appliances.

These photos were taken from the listing of the house before Rekieta bought it in 2018, so these photos are about 6.5 years old.

In January 2022, Rekieta said that he had just replaced his washing machine and dryer saying "the old ones were on the way out, and they're getting kind of old. They were from the previous owner."

After complaining for 7 minutes about how they were installed improperly, Rekieta specifies at 9:36 that he bought Samsung washer and dryers: "Mine are Samsung too. I ordered the Samsung ones. They look nice, but very very frustrated with the installers."

He complains about the direction the doors open but not the size.

Starts here:

I think he actually did replace them. This stream was from January 10, 2022. He says he upgraded them, but usually a smaller capacity would be a downgrade, wouldn't it?
In the above video he complains about the installation for an absurdly long length of time and never mentions them being too small. He is mainly mad about the doors not opening in opposite directions.

That's an entirely different stream so it's possible that he was obsessed enough about these appliances that he brought up their size in one of these streams, but I don't really care enough to inspect all the transcripts.

It can be essentially free if your property is large enough and you're mostly using deadwood or trees you want to cut anyway. If you're a greenfag, there are even EPA certified wood furnaces that emit very little smoke. There are even conversions to have it support the water heater.

Why would anyone rather pay big gas or an electric company than do it for nearly free? It's just if you actually have cheap gas, it's more of a hassle to use wood, but it's a lot cheaper.

As for paper plates, who cares? I mean if you're going to put it on social media, maybe, but the real problem with Nick's "family night" cooking wasn't the plate, it was what was on it. You don't put that kind of slop on a paper plate, even the tough ones will tend to get soggy. Obviously you don't put a steak on that either, because you'll cut through it into the table below.

I still can't believe he put wagyu into that slop.

He does an even worse job pretending to be a good dad than DaddyOFive.

So he replaced stuff that would have probably lasted another 20 years with garbage virtually guaranteed to explode immediately after the one year warranty expires.

It's giving me stupid joy that paper plates and washers and dryers have inspired perfectly timed KF autism.

Speaking of autism, this tweet made me smile because the tweeter is correct on every point of the hacking issue. Nick's only reply was 'autism!'... as if that's a bad thing.

Replacing solid Electrolux machines with cheap garbage from Samsung, what a total tool. This nitrous huffing skelly has new toy syndrome, he must consooom. He needs the newest and dumbest gadgets. A Wacom Cintiq to move OBS windows and e-waste Samsung shit with built-in obsolescence and a range of stupid IOT nonsense no one uses.
Then he whines about an entire nation because he's too lazy to use the washing machine computer thing.

Also, he needs someone to install a washer and a dryer? Don't you just plug it in and connect the hoses, then secure it with tube clamps? Did the washing machine installation engineer die of pancreatic cancer?

Autism!
Said the guy that paints video game figurines and purchases a mixing board to adjust OBS volumes.

Pretty much any hotel in the US, up to about the $150 per night range, requires you to breakfast on identical low grade slop that you serve yourself on paper plates, and then “recycle” into the landfill garbage can when you’re done. I blame 1950s fast food culture myself.

Anyway, yes, if you’re not careful you end up with a population of people like the Rekietas as a direct result.
