Antipsychotics are prescribed for Bipolar, but not by themselves. Usually, it’s mixed with an antidepressant and a mood stabilizer if the diagnosis is Bipolar disorder.

Okay so in my experience observing lolcows, meds usually go one of two ways:
The cow looks up all the incredibly rare side effects and complains that they're worried about them until they convince themselves to stop taking the meds
OR
The cow convinces themselves they don't need the meds and stops taking the meds

What are we thinking for Zoey? Also Zoey take your meds if you're reading this, don't go off them. Shout out to my boy Matt who cured his bipolar by having a near death experience! 100% Cured. Just needed to almost die first. This is not medical advice. I like Abilify for Zoey, she fits with every other insane woman I've known who has been put on it. There's certainly a type. Maybe she can mellow out and work through learning some coping skills and emotional regulation skills in therapy now. but I really hope so.

Zoella, I recommend getting one of those pill containers that have the days of the week on them. That will help you remember to take your pills and make sure you don’t accidentally take them more than once in a day. Take our advice and set an alarm on your phone which is set to repeat EVERY DAY at the same time so you don’t forget to take your meds.
