Every. Single. Goddamned. Private sector person on the planet knew what that 8 month offer was. "Quit before they fire you." I asked everyone I knew, from family members to righties to lefties to business contacts to students I mentor to everyone in between. "They're offering 8 months to quit? TAKE IT. They're going to have layoffs when they're done."
