Which brings me to an interesting thought I had- what if both me and several of these "Diverse Art Advocates" constantly acting as unpaid promoters of Current Thing Products on social media, were both audited- and I came out on top as having the more diverse (Non-English/American, I have plenty of NTSC-J games and even some PAL ones) and niche/maligned (if you remember that list of games/consoles I like from a few pages ago) collection of media, compared to their collections of heavily-promoted media in English from California made by big companies with white executives? I imagine they'd see the stats and be horrified by them, working around the clock to try and discredit them and panicking over how they have a (significantly) lower Diverse Media Score than I, a Conservative Trump Voter, do. And bear in mind, my NTSC-J games and other retro games are only really an affordability thing that I doubt I'd be as into if I were much more affluent with less concern for more money to burn.

Simply put, as a customer, I am unconcerned about whether or not fiction supposedly makes me a bigot. I just want good quality for good prices, which happens to lead me to more diverse entertainment strangely enough! Meanwhile, people with more money (or just less sense and concern for cost-effective spending decisions) will use it to follow very effective marketing campaigns and try to appeal to their groups.

Lastly, what about people who do buy things like Disco, and are unaware and unconcerned about racism? Do they just get more safe critical passage now? Or do you need to quiz them to prove they Are Not Racist?
