Terry was a savant and a genius when it came to programming, his mental illness and inability to care for himself was the biggest thing holding him back from being on the level of a Steve Wozniak. Rudy is a midwit schizo who got lucky being one of the first content creators in a particular niche (alternate history). He'd just be another autist living in his parents basement who dropped out of college and plays HOI4 all day without his Youtube channel and all the affirmation for his increasingly delusional beliefs that come from that. There is nothing special about Rudyard Lynch, he has contributed nothing to the world and hes certaintly no thought leader. A curiosity to be sure, hence why theres a thread here, but certaintly not a genius or lost potential case like with Terry.
For such a self described "avid reader" and "intellectual", you'd think he'd take two seconds to just look up his question on Google instead of theorizing about how different cattle diets produce different tasting milk. Does he even know what Pasteurization is?

HOWERVER, several videos before revealing this result, he claimed that his IQ was "well below average"; he's retarded, in other words, or at least very bad at test-taking. I assume he retook the test with some coaching, after realizing that he wanted credibility.

No, he said in a video that he was shown to have an IQ of 110 based on a test during his childhood. He said this was below average. Isn't 100 supposed to be average though? Shouldn't that mean slightly above average? Anyway, this was used as a point to prove IQ is bullshit because he is obviously well above average.
Rudy is a certified midwit. He may be correct in that a person's IQ could change as they reach adulthood (I was tested as a child but don't know what mine would be if I took one today), but he certainly wasn't a prodigy and definitely isn't a genius today.

It doesn't. It can't by definition, since it's measured in age cohorts. If you are ~115 as a kid, you are probably 100 compared to adults.
No, I don't have exact stats to cite here, just trying to illustrate the idea. We might speculate that someone who stays at 130 throughout actually improved his intellectual capacity relative to his former self, whereas going from 115 in childhood to 100 as an adult, could mean that person stagnated - but it's not measured like that in the first place, usually. They just don't score you against adults and vice versa - I even think the tests are different... For some reason people always leave out this little fact when talking about IQ - I didn't figure this out when I was a kid and was always dumbfounded by mine and other's somewhat "high" scores when I would find myself obviously not as capable as an average adult - as far as I could tell.
