Oh for the love of god, not this shit again.

Is it now a requirement that every superhero cartoon needs to have a character be like “Why didn’t you tell me you were so-and-so-man, you selfish prick??”
I have no idea why this is a trend in modern, Korean slavery-produced when everybody hates it. Maybe the writers are just hack and don't know how else to produce drama other than same-old-same-old soap opera tropes, not realizing that all this shit does is tread water and were invented SPECIFICALLY to tread water.

It's so annoying this is like the third character in this entire show who found out too.

At least it isn't the worst offender which was Amber Invincible who gaslit the main character about it and knew for weeks

"How could you hide extremely private and potentially dangerous information from me? We go to school together!"

To be fair in the context, she's pissed because Harry Osborn knew this information before her and he was just some random rich kid. Heck she actually knew before seeing the mask because Harry told her unprompted after she said she knew all of Peter's secrets.

Its still absolutely dumb how every fucking Spider-man thing that comes out nowadays has people just find out Spider-Man's identity through incompetence, and with modern superhero shows its the same old drama with this identity reveal that boils down to:

"You lied to me"

"I'm sorry"

"I forgive you"

It just cheapens the conflict of the secret identity since sometimes people live double lives, and puts the civilians into the superhero life when the civilian identity is meant to provide normalcy to contrast the crazy superhero business. Though in this case, this character is meant to be another marvel superhero because Marvel would rather use Spider-Man as a gateway avenue to promote other characters, which they've done with the previous Disney Spider-Man shows.

Y'know the whole point about superhero alter-egos is they're supposed to be kept secret from everyone. Now if the superhero is in a serious relationship or is married, you could assume the SO knows about it or has a sneaking suspicion, but you could also not blame the superhero for still choosing to keep it a secret to protect them from his enemies.

Are Gwen and Peter dating here? Is there an engagement in the works? If not, she's just being a brat flipping out on her bestest friend or whatever for hiding the fact he's Spider-Man because he doesn't want anyone to get hurt or worse (although apparently he's just that terrible at keeping secrets here) and I could see them using "lol hormones" as an explanation for why she got so mad. That's not someone worth pursuing and given canonically she dies anyway (ironically by Peter's own hands by accident), they might just be using this moment to give Peter more things to feel guilty about when she inevitably dies.

That's not even Gwen, that's a different Marvel character named Nico Minoru who is a different Marvel Superhero (with implications she may become them). As I said, she's just pissed because other people he barely knew before her (cause Harry told her assuming she knew). So far in this show both the Osborn's (Norman basically takes up MCU Tony's role and Harry just walked in on an unmasked Spider-Man) and her know Peter is Spider-man, and probably given the sort of MCU-Lite synergy, Aunt May and the other superheroes will probably know too, then maybe some more side characters.

Honestly would say it is reasonable, with the main issue being how quick it is that everyone is finding out that Peter is Spider-Man through his sheer incompetence.

You know they fucked up because Amber in S2 became one of the sweetest, most reasonable characters in fiction, which she absolutely wasn't in the first one.

I feel the reason I get frustrated at Amber in season 1 and the reason everyone else gets mad at her are completely different issues.

Coming next year from Sony...what looks like a AI generated poster.

Someone at Sony thought: "A goat who plays basketball. He wants to be the 'GOAT', get it?" and other people thought that was a good enough idea to spend millions of dollars making it into a real movie, which proves that humans still have the capacity to be an even bigger threat to creativity than AI.

Get it? BEE Movie?

Ugggggggggggghhh.
Just tried to watch Cleopatra In Space and I only made it through the first episode because of how goddamn "generic kids show" it is. I'm convinced that /co/ only posts this chick in waifu threads because they want to stand out amongst all the other people posting waifus from stuff people have actually seen.

I read the books and her friends were originally redheads

I dunno why I thought it'd be a good idea to watch Osmosis Jones while sick lmao.

Have to say, it's a fun idea, and yet it really needed more time in the oven (thankfully they were allowed to make a series of it, I remember liking it). The politics especially doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but eh. Also is funny to see just how little of a shit the actors in the live-action parts gave about it. They must've realized it was a "kids' movie" and was like "Meh, paycheck's a paycheck." It's likely Warner Bros. ordered that to knock down that (intended?) PG-13.

Anyhoo gonna go cough up my lungs in the bathroom lol. @+@

At some point, people just have to accept that being someone's best friend doesn't entitle you to all of their secrets. People have matters they keep private and don't concern you, and that's okay.

Except that the next episode has Harry explain to her that Peter didn't tell him and that he only knew because of a mistake and she re-iterates that she's still mad at Peter because he should have told her straight away.
Cleopatra In Space
I thought you were trolling until I googled it...
