Harriet Tubman is one of my favorite leaders in this game. Also she is unironically one of the most racist depictions of a black person, this has to be on purpose.

Her whole playstyle is instigating fights, stealing shit, catching people stealing and calling her friends about it, and playing the victim when some shit gets started. Ohh and someone gave her a concealed carry, but i don't know what that does yet.

10/10 based depiction of a black woman.

After all, Harriet Tubman is just the most famous black criminal. Famous solely for stealing lots of property.

I couldn't agree with this more. Base game Civ 5 is great but you can't really sprawl across the map with it because the devs kept trying to limit that ability but Vox Populi let's you craft a massive, functioning empire that's on par with what you can build in Civ 4.

Vox Pop seemed very feature heavy and slower than 4 to me. Most of the time on 4 I was running Legends of Revolution. Most similar to that for 5 is Superpower, which is currently dead on the workshop and Civ Fanatics but in active development in discord. There should be a workshop update soon, supposedly.

It's very much geared toward making it harder to dominate in the endgame. Every Civ has several bonuses and 4 unique that are very substantial. Policies are reworked, the two starting ones are much better for tall/wide based on what you pick. It's got interesting city size and electricity mechanics.

Been playing V again recently. I find that I enjoy its presentation and gameplay better than VI
The art-deco ui styling and the music are far better than the vaguely pixarish graphics in 6.
I also found that a lot of changes in 6 had dire consequences for the game's balance. Certain wonders in 6 are total noob traps that aren't worth building (Colossus) while others are far more powerful (Pyramids.) A lot of this comes down to wonders taking up tiles which isn't a good design choice imo.

is there a way to play test of time on modern PCs? because i would play the shit out of that.

How the fuck do you get it running on a windows 10/11 machine? I've tried everything. I ended up using PCEM to run it in an emulated Windows98 P133 box.
 
Would you folks recommend Civ VII? I've played Civ for a while at least, starting with IV then going back to the older games then V when it came out, sadly I couldn't stand VI so I never bought it after playing the pirated copy (technically someone gifted it to me), the DLC and that "Red Shell" shit made that decision even easier. That being said, does Civ VII offer anything that's worth trying at least that you would recommend?

Even that is questionable so far. So far I'm mostly just seeing fence sitting videos that don't dare mention the DEI shit. I've only seen a few videos openly bashing it for the woke DEI clusterfuck it is and the comment sections are astroturfed to hell, so much so that I'm wondering if sweet baby inc. has an army of shills brigading small videos that are critical of civ 7.
Maybe it needs more time but I'm not seeing much delicious salt yet.
