I'll admit that I enjoy his content, and that we both share many of the same political beliefs.

That said; he deserves the mockery and anger for the FreedomToons bit. Why did he think it was a good idea to include an independent cartoonist along with the corporate-backed shows is beyond me, but this speaks really ill of his character.

He was okay back in the day. He's kind of deteriorated though, leaning more into outrage stuff as opposed to just cartoon reviews.

Reviewing the AI comment sorting (available in mobile youtube) lists the top 5 comment "topics".
Top 4/5 are all currently freedom toons in sabersparks video about right wing cartoons.

namely
-freedom toons misrepresented
-freedom toons satire or serious
-saberspark vs freedom toons
-anti woke dog meme discussion.

At this rate, I think saberspark has ended up accidentally PROMOTING freedom toons, since people ripping on freedom toons or even complaining are such a painful minority. Even if someone doesn't necessarily like them, the fact he removed the part mentioning but kept the comments makes freedom toons come across as having immense gravitas, more than it even has honestly. And at this point if he disables comments, its ANOTHER point against him, and another strike for lolcowdom.

I remember how he said he was going slow down his output and do more meaningful videos that he actually cared about and instead it just became low hanging political shit and garbage AI shows.

I hate to defend Ben Shapiro but the said cartoon is more apolitical and inoffensive than shut Disney and Nick airs now. It's just a Bluey rip-off with Rob Schneider's voice acting.
