People could avoid a lot of shit by avoiding products with more than five ingredients and any that use corn syrup, or seed oils. This would weed out 80% of the horseshit and takes a two second glance at the ingredients label to check.
there was a stretch where I wanted to lose weight, and I dropped anything with corn or soy
soon enough I started getting the polite "so you don't have some imminent death sickness, right?" type questions

I also don't think 12 bucks for maple syrup is a big deal. Do people really eat pancakes that often?
I eat them maybe once a month if that. They're more of a treat than an actual breakfast in my opinion.
No it definitely isn’t bad now. But growing up, 12 bucks would have been completely out of the question for my parents. I was just so accustomed to the cheap ‘syrup’ it never even occurred to me to look at the label. You can bet I look at a lot more labels now though

They are forced to redirect all the concerns they have about any foreign power towards Russia, because Russians are white. You can't be too concerned about China or Chinese power, because that's racist. Same with any other nonwhite country.
Would agree, but they often still sperg about the Muslims and North Korea. It really is whichever group the media hypes up that day as the ultimate evil. Russia has the benefit of Cold War association to really spook the elderly.

Steaks and crab aren't where the EBT money is going. Or rather, if you see someone piling up their cart with steaks and crab, then paying for it with EBT, they're trading the steaks and crab for drugs, not eating them.

You apparently aren't read up on Lucas Werner.

I watched a bunch of videos to see various EU politician's reactions to Vance's speech.

Main things I noticed:
  • They always deflect from there being any internal issues and that the US should stay out of their business
  • Russia, Russia, Russia
  • Zero mention of what JD said about Romanian election at all, they don't even want to bring it up
  • Zero mention of immigration
  • They want to raise their defense spending, but their messaging says that they will not do this while taking away from any social programs (so where does the money come from? no one seems to know.)
  • They're big mad that they're not being involved in the discussions with Russia and Ukraine
  • No mention of not paying % of GDP for NATO spending for decades
  • Mostly deflecting and gaslighting
  • They're defending "democracy" from far right wing parties, they will not work with the right wing, and expect _all_ parties to do the same
  • Still on the J6 NPC points, Trump doesn't care about democracy because he pardoned the J6 people, etc.
TL;DR: Tons of cope, no actual policy
Boy, it sure would be a shame if AfD got banned or some other overstep by a NATO country happened and the US withdrew military support without warning

Get a load of this duck fuck canuck.

Fake cowboy performative patriot faggot, acting like he's John Wayne with his Alberta accent

I feel like Canadians are taking the 51st state thing way too seriously. It is obviously just a joke, the downsides of taking Canada heavily outweigh the benefits for Trump. I used to think that they knew he was just being an asshole and they had a problem with him being an asshole but the more and more I look into it it feels like a good portion of them they really are stupid enough to think they're at an actual risk of invasion.

It's being used as a pressure release valve for all the pent up anger they have at the pajeets and chinks flooding their country. For their government signing away the future of their kids and selling the country out from under them for quick profit. None of these people said a peep until Trump started pointing out how our hat is taking advantage of us. It's lost on most of them that he's pointing out canada may as well be the 51st state with how it's totally subsidized by the US as if it were just cold california and how it WILL be the 51st state if the leafs dont get themselves in order because the gravy train is ending whether they like it or not.

It's encouraging them to not want to fix their own country out of some sense of misguided and defensive nationalism in the face of Trump demanding they set their house in order. The very real and very in their fucking face problems that they have are apparently not as important as the indignity of joining with the USA.
The sovereignty of their country is apparently only at threat when the orange man makes a joke about annexing them, but not when the country is being flooded with migrants.
