Self harm and condoning it, or assisting it, is evil and has no place in a healthy and good society. That it's a pop culture trend is really horrifying. And Orwellian as fuck. Harm is good! Self harm doubleplusgood! We really need to figure out a way to take back the narrative on all that and have social condemnation reduce its incidence and prevalence. I get really wigged out about this renaming of evil every now and then. The dystopia is here, it's just not evenly distributed. Yet.
