The media literacy always struck me like an overly complicated game of elitist, Leftist, fart sniffing BINGO. This sounds stupid but I promise It will make sense.
Basically bingo especially in any serious sense, calls out numbers, and you are expected to match them to them to the card ASAP. You win by getting a row in the card, and you are incentivized to be VERY efficient matching them up, since otherwise you might miss them

Now replace the bingo caller with a conversation, or in this case, MEDIA, and imagine this fuck has this bingo card in front of him AT ALL TIMES. Like this "facism" bingo card
View attachment 6990299

just replace the bingo card with WHATEVER Label, facism, censorship, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, with all the squares inside being as stupid stretches as the card presented.

And if you DON'T see these imaginary bingo cards / Don't play bingo, you aren't "MEDIA LITERATE"

Suddenly you now know exactly how fucks like them work. Its woke bingo

You're welcome.
Interesting.

Wow, what a nightmare this sort of people are. I don't even consider them "left-wing", because there are people on the left that have their head in their place (difficult I know). But there are many weird right wingers too. Regardless, to not sperg about it, I categorise these "bingo" tards as shitlibs, simple enough.

I know what you mean. I think sadly especially troonery and the like has REALLY made the left wing look AWFUL, and many people who otherwise are left wing feel alienated by stuff these days because too many of these idiots

But this really should be a term, bingo-tard isn't a bad one.

Nothing is ever that good when it "Tries" to be mature. Only children and those who are childish see Maturity as a goal.
The problem is that their idea of maturity is not "intellectually mature ideas and themes that can only be explored through mature media" rather, it's arguably the most emotionally childish stuff you could imagine.
I'm not entirely sure if you will ever find equivalents to something like Joker, or Falling Down, or Taxi Driver, or Bladerunner 2049 in adult animation because these types of people put Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss as paragons of adult animation. You will only ever find people who want to put sex and drugs and swearing in their animations. It is literally a child's idea of maturity.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

Stuff like Steven Universe and Avatar The Last Airbender that has shipping bait and novel-length fanfics written by teenagers, stuff like King of the Hill that tries to have some sort of social commentary, or stuff like Bluey that talks out of both sides of its mouth. Just wait until they watch 80s cartoons and realize their precious "adult themes" are in what's considered to be the cheesiest and cheapest form of animation outside ecchi anime. I have no idea why they're so determined to die on this hill of "animation can be mature"; just admit you're into kids' shows and let them be kids' shows because childish formats like cartoons, tokusatsu, and video games are never that good when they try to be more mature.
I'd struggle to call SU fan base adults, shippers, coomers and fans can't even manage their finances and how more and more efficient AI is replacing their slop.

These adult babies can't handle their own finances, debts etc

Rick and Morty is Reddit incarnate "adult cartoons" same with that cartoon with that brown rick and Morty rejected face something or other.

In terms of adult animated shows, the only two I can think of that aren’t sitcoms/comedies in general are Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal and Castlevania.

Reactions: Hey Bitches it's me
the reaction everyone had to matt walsh not liking the sonic movie was hilarious. i believe matt was just ragebaiting to get a reaction out of people and if so, it worked successfully. he got so many people butthurt over his opinion on (from what i hear) a decent movie. if they truly want matt walsh to die in relevance, they need to just ignore him though the daily wire is a very easy target to go after for both sides of the political spectrum.
Matt clearly plays a fictionalized/Flanderized version of himself and purposely ragebaits for engagement from idiots online. It's hilarious that leftists keep falling for it when its thanks to that that he went from being the Daily Wire B team scrub who was streaming from inside his car to a millionaire.

On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, it’s the “I was just pretending to be retarded” aspect.

Like if it’s working for him, cool. But it’s also kinda silly to go “ha ha, I acted like a dumbass and now everyone thinks I’m a dumbass”.

I already mentioned what that has potential issues.
I understand he's trying to rage bait and such, but considering his position it's probably best not to draw parallels to old Christian fundamentalists and the Satanic Panic.
You are not going to find friends in the center, center right, or the general more apolitical populace when your words easily mirror past things your side has done. It's also not even remotely hard for the left to also use your rage baiting as propaganda for their side to sway people back by saying they simply wish to censor things even harder than we did.

There is little difference between playing the fool and being one to those not in on the joke.

For that kind of money I'll pretend to be any level of retarded. Up to and including wearing a helmet at recess retardation.

Calling Steven Universe Mature writing should be a crime against brain cells.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA0KTFdnBk8 "talks about serious mature topics like racism and bullying, but dismisses it with a finger wave and a that's no good."
VS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0DEVvjkuIU "talks about serious mature topics like racism and bullying, treats the topic as a serious issue that isn't solved with magic, shows that victims of someone's behavior can even be people you wouldn't expect, showing that such behavior is unhealthy with examples that can happen irl. With less slurs and blood because it's still a show for 6 year olds."

Steven Universe isn't mature writing as in well written, it's adult writing as in porn writing. It's dumbed down soft core porn. It's porn without the good parts. Perhaps that's why so many fans are obsessed with gooning to it. The entire show is just soft core porn. Which would be fine if it was on adult swim. But it's not marked for adults, i'ts marked for 6-12 year olds. Why does a 6 year old need cartoons to Twerk?

I have to ask:

What the fuck is it with grown ass adults watching Bluey? I can understand if you actually have kids, but the high number in the fandom who don’t leaves me concerned for my own generation.
Bluey is a baby show that is meant to be just good enough for adults seeing it to not want to blow their brains out when they watch it with their kids. The fact that childless adults watch it for fun is insanity

It just seems like current MLP fandom minus OCs, conventions, and lots of porn or maybe those things also exist I'm not sure.
MLP at least made some sense because magic and being connected to a major person in the animation industry, but is there anything interesting for adults in Bluey?
I only saw one episode so far with my niece and nephew and it just looked like one of those kid shows for really young kids.

(And I somehow mixed up the christians and muslims at the end)
Add Jewish animation Someone can coin "Abrahamic animations" then adding orthodox, protestant and Catholic, same with Muslims and Jews under the same umbrella.

I'm morbidly curious what religious Jews animate. "Don't say Elohim, please!"

1. I am not sure if bluey have stand-alone conventions, yet the adult bluey fandom has already attached themselves to regular furry conventions.

2. If you don't think Bluey has controversies over porn, you have never been around any of the adult bluey Facebook groups where there is always drama over Bluey porn or adult erotic role playing as bluey characters on the Facebook groups.

3. Adult bluey fandom already has shitstorms relating to kids and parents getting ripped off by bluey events to even high profile crimes like half a million dollars of bluey coins being stolen.
