I don't know anything about this series besides that, (that it's some JoJo shit), but I hate how much the Kakyoin girl looks like a cross between Patty Mayonnaise and Roger Klotz and I feel insane that nobody else has noticed

The Arcane fandom had a 'draw every frame' contest for the final frame where Jayce and Viktor embrace. All of the art can be viewed here. These are just some examples. Most are SFW, but are spoilered due to length. Over 400 artists were hired for this project, and were based on a very popular animation that even Viktor's VA, Harry Lloyd, liked on Instagram (that post got 300k likes on IG, 100k on Twitter, and was admittedly a very good fan animation).
By contrast, a similar tactic was done for the kiss scene in Our Flag Means Death, and I must say, the art stills for that were far superior.
400 artists, and half of the drawings look like they're Downies. The JayVik fandom is not sending their best.
In many of these frames, Viktor's nose isn't even drawn properly, or at all. In others, he has a Jew nose:

This artist was featured, and sure enough, not only does she draw her characters like a soyjack, her art is generally fucking ugly.
Notice the zippertit scars.
This next one is supposed to be a Touhou crossover. It appears these artists don't know how to draw Jayce's skin colour, as he changes race in every scene he's in.
Hot. Don't know why his blush is so high on his cheeks, why Viktor's anatomy looks like that, or why Jayce's penis is that dark. It's darker than his lips, ffs.

This one isn't bad, it just looks goofy, especially with the foreshortening on the legs:

These were all vetted. Some of the frames are very good, nearly an identical copy to the show, but the rest are just downright terrible. Yeah, we 'eating good' Arcane fandom.

I should also like to mention that Riot actually came out with official Valentine's Day cards, and people took it as proof JayVik was canon. God I guess that makes sense. I tried - TRIED - to get into JJBA, and just could not. I had a friend who became obsessed with Kakyoin and I could not understand it even slightly. He was the most boring character in the series. I've encountered multiple people since then who latch onto Kakyoin and it has always baffled me.

How could someone who seemingly has a good grasp at character design fuck up something as simple as skin color? The before is more light skinned than the after with an entirely different head shape and hair type, how does that work?
