The JayVik shipping reminds me why I hated and still hate the shipping side of fandoms so much- I've actually been put off of a few series/games because of the fanon v. canon bullshit. Arcane/LoL is definitely the shining example.

Welp, I’m in the mood for some more CaptProlactin posting. And speaking of gay shit, I’m going to go ahead and share the teased parts to a project she’s working on, The Old Maiden’s Final Notice. Now Tiff has made her stance on Romantasy very clear…
Hence why she’s writing this graphic novel/webcomic (she’s called it both). It’s got everything a tumblrina could ask for! A nonbinary and neurodivergent love interest, a platonic and romantic story, dystopia satire based on Trump’s America, social commentary and activism, witchcraft and cats!
Now I can give her props for doing her own thing, being the change she wants to see in the world. I can’t compliment her that much though, given how similar works like Dustborn and Concord have ended up. If there is a kind and merciful God, this will flop just as badly.
We love a blatant self insert, yay!
Ooo, bit of a misgender there! I also hate how Lieutenant looks. Tiff can draw cats just fine, why does this one look like a Littlest Pet Shop reject?

Well, that was a bit of a slog. I have plenty of questions and complaints (how is the world ending? WW3, aliens, super volcanoes, Covid-20? I am really not feeling the chemistry between Tiff and Rocks), but this is obviously only part of the intro, and the fantasy bullshit should be coming soon after. I don’t understand the desperate crusade she’s having against unremarkable teenage girl fantasies. Who cares if they’re silly or unrealistic? It’s very simple: She hates men for literally everything they’ve done to women over the course of history up to today, thinks that it’s foolish and immature for women to fantasize because it’s degrading, and overall thinks straight women are delusional. Oh, she claims to be queer. Though the therapy comic mentioned her suffering an unrequited obsession for an unnamed man. So as far as I can tell, she could just be yet another political lesbian. And after looking up the definition to make sure that’s the case, I think I’m spot on. I still wonder how much stuff like growing up with dad out of the picture and being in the Navy affected her mindset. She claims to have an Appalachian upbringing by the way.
