No man would ever try to argue that mining isn't inherently fucking cool. The peak male fantasy is to be able to change the world around you or to leave an ever lasting mark on it. Every man at least has a respect for mining or metallurgy or stonemasonry or welding or just building a fucking house from sticks and mud in a forest, hell even just cutting down a tree with an axe or digging a hole. Oh my god. So I was looking back at CaptProlactin’s account for some shit about her graphic novel, and decided to actually read the comic that mentioned her parents being divorced. It explains a lot.

So she was obsessed with her feelings for a man, but hated it because she’s learned to despise men for everything they’ve done in history to hurt women and concretely believes that the patriarchy still exists in the western world. She lies to her therapist after being “threatened” with medication for her obsessive thoughts. Her takeaway is “therapy is colonized” because it doesn’t let her be angry about every single Bad Thing that happens in the world. And it was used for Bad Things in the past. And whatever problems you have could really be your anger at the Bad Things. I do think there’s problems with therapy and pushing medication (especially if the shrink wants you to troon out), but this is lunacy brought on by your obsessive hatred of the Y chromosome.
And if you’re a man, haha fuck you, suck it up.
