I've commented before on how the stories Andy tells of his sainted father make him sound like an obnoxious asshole.
I wonder, does Andy ACTUALLY admire his abusive father? Or do you think he just elevates him to this mythical figure chess champion secret agent Kung Fu master to elevate himself, and for all we know, personally hates his dad?
Notice that for all he claims to revere his father, he answers to his middle name, Andrew, and all his branding is "Andrew Tate" though his first name is Emory, after his father and grandfather. For how proud he claims to be of his father, he will never answer to Emory Tate III.
I also wonder if he's truly stupid enough to believe all this abusive behavior was some sort of training to toughen him up and that he was a good father. Like saying their dad would shove him and Tristan to the ground as toddlers, but it's okay, daddy didn't do it because he was just an ill tempered, probably drunken, bully who can only push around his own small children to feel strong, it was actually to teach them "how to get back up again".
Mind you, telling stories about an abusive father to farm sympathy is exactly what you'd expect from a manipulative narcissist, but his Alpha Male persona prevents him from really crying "Boo hoo, daddy touched me!" Maybe he tries to fish for the same sympathy while maintaining the alpha male persona by telling the story while playing dumb, as if he doesn't know this behavior is abusive so he isn't complaining about it.
I've also speculated before a good number of these stories and quotes probably never happened, and are just fables to insult/inspire his tater tots while attributing the shithead takes to his dead dad so he doesn't have to take the heat for them.
