It only needs a handful. The actually active members of the Weather Underground didn't number more than a couple of hundred across the entire United States, with the bombers themselves probably being less than a hundred total.
True, but again I believe two or three would be the maximum. We'll see if and when it comes to it.

Second what's your opinion on this?
From the TES thread, I did a little dive into this and gave my thoughts. Richard Grenell looks like shit on this one, look at the article, they have direct quotes from Grenell in support of Tate, even allowing for standard journalistic malfeasance and selectivity I'm very concerned.
Link and Archive to Newsweek article, I don't think it's the same one you screenshotted; if anyone can access the Financial Times article it seems like they first reported the story, that one might be worth reading but it's paywalled.

The Newsweek story at least said who within the admin was responsible, Richard Grenell, who was ambassador to Germany during Trump's first term (and apparently was lacking in diplomacy in that role). He's currently "envoy for special missions", and in that role was previously sent to California to oversee the admin's response to the LA fires, and Venezuela to do diplomacy over deportations. He met in person with Romanian foreign minister Emil Hurezeanu at a conference in Germany (it's not clear whether meeting with Hurezeanu was his sole or main priority there), and before that there was apparently a phone call involving "US officials" during which the topic was discussed. I'd imagine the main topic was the recent annulled election in Romania; the article may be slightly misleading in implying that these overtures were undertaken specifically because of Tate rather than him being one of several topics discussed, but it's absolutely clear from direct quotes that Grenell does support Tate and his incarceration is a priority, and he's not alone in this in the administration.

This is hugely embarrassing. At best the support Tate garners in right wing circles is a very unfortunate blindspot, but in this case it really makes me question Grenell. Oh yeah, and he's gay. Wait, maybe that explains it...

They wanna be slaves to islam, not to America. For some reason.
No, we don't. Europe, like America, is split in two; One group who wants to grill and, if push comes to shove, will do anything in their power to be left alone. The other group are boot-licking faggots, too scared of their own shadow to say anything negative about anything.

The former group have been quiet, enjoying the good times that our forefathers gifted us - and can you blame us for enjoying that gift which was earned by bloodshed and honoured upon us?
The latter, though, being socially unaware, are now screeching so loud that our peaceful, quiet, good times are being disturbed.

A cry from the Eagle out West has woken us from our rest and dozing. A societal change is coming and they, whoever they are, wherever they are, however many of them they may be, will not win. What they forget, is that we have history; castles, forts and walls, while they no nothing of the past, which is why they will once again be naught but a mention, a sidenote, to the epics written of our victory.

I realized about a year ago that the lolcow threads politically opposite to this thread don't have much actual cow funny value (and are just 99.9% genuinely angry political posting) when I peeked into one and saw a post along the lines of "Defending the lolcow is against forum rules. You will be banned from this thread shortly." from some regular in there.
It was one of the gayest and most reddit things I've seen unironically posted by a user on this site without a pink triangle.
I have zero clue how someone could use this site for years and end up voting for Tim "There needs to be some exceptions to free speech for hate speech and misinformation" Walz; especially after the Cloudflare/Dong Gone/Hurricane Electric shit.
But remember A&H is the echo chamber.

You remember swine flu? I'm surprised we didn't come of age through multiple COVIDs, back when people had the sense to just accept they were being hysteric.
Boomers weren't that old when the swine flu happened it was all done at the behest on boomers I remember at my work throwing piles of bleach on everything because of boomers demanding it muh flu muh condishuns occasionally some xer and millennial will join mostly for asspats.

What I will never understand is why the fuck do these crazy leftists have to let them win? You have the same fucking rights they do. If you don't like how they're using their free speech, then use yours back holy shit this isn't hard. They act like the very existence of some dude in a swastika shirt (that they made up) means 'they've won', like they just lie down and roll over without any fight whatsoever. Free speech didn't cause the endgame for the Nazi regime, the opposite was true; people with the privilege to bitch and whine on Reddit like you would have been Gestapo'd for doing so and had no free speech to speak up with. Holy shit they're so retarded
The thing is the very existence of the guy in a shirt does mean they lose, because to them winning means erasing anything they disagree with from existence. They don't believe in free speech they want facism where they get to dictate what is and isn't allowed

I remember the danes managed to save all their Jews, so unless there's evidence otherwise I don't think they were too submissive.
Danes were able to do it because germans didnt really go hard on danish population. They did not do it, because Denmark surrendered within six hours. I think its one of, if not THE quickest surrender in history.
Danes are verh submissive. Only country to not put up a fight once shooting started.

Genuinely is bad white women as it is are pissed at abortions being banned in certain states and talking about cat ladies you don't need this one the record . No matter how good the economy goes women don't want another trafficker/ rapist freed especially someone who preaches to men to do what he does to women as if fertility and sex rates arent down enough. Without women's vote republican party is toast.

I don't believe for a second he wrote all of firefly.
That’s because he didn’t. He’s got a writing credit for 5 episodes out of 14. The rest was written by Tim Minear (who worked on the best seasons of The X-Files) and a few other people who were writing for the action-oriented shows Fox was putting out at the time.

He’s the only credited writer for Serenity, though, which does raise an eyebrow. Although it was still acceptable to paint the government as the bad guy in the pre-Obama years, so maybe that explains it.

Trump was smart to moderate on abortion; just having no policy at the federal level and leaving it to states is probably best from an electoral standpoint. And yeah, he has more to gain from the TERFs than from gay Tate fans like Grenell.

I could imagine Trump himself knows very little if anything about Tate. It's a difficult information landscape, for anyone in politics there's some commentator out there who will call them a grifter, so it's hard to know who to trust. I am hoping people get in his ear about this and set him straight because this is embarrassing. More than that it's just wrong, I'd vote against intervening in favor of Tate every time. It's not even like you have to intervene to oppose him either! Just do nothing, he's being tried in the justice system of a foreign country.

That's not entirely true. There was resistance for a day from isolated pockets of badly equipped soldiers who didn't get the memo. They managed to inflict 200 casualties at the cost of something like 16 to 39 men. Danish intelligence knew the attack was coming, the government did not care and was doing both jack shit and sabotageing the soldiers, likely collaborating with the Germans. ( There was a large German minority in Denmark, and the Nazis came in with light armor expecting no resistance) But to be fair even with full commitment to war Denmark was never gonna win, especially with no anti air whatsoever.

There's a cool movie on the subject.

Their dead babies and ability to get men imprisoned for social media nonsense... gone :punished:

Nobody cares about the genetically unfortunate weirdo Tate except the media, but if the allegation that his legal difficulties in Romania were caused by USAID meddling are true - and they probably are - telling Romania to knock it off isn't a bad move. It's what any US citizen should expect.

Europe is full of Islamic traffickers and sex offenders, but goofy looking Andrew Tate is somehow the face of rape? Give me a break. :shit-eating:

As much as I hate the Tates, they are still, unfortunately, American citizens and the American government should have its citizen's backs. Especially since the Romanian government haven't proven shit with their fucking around. I suppose it's also possible it's just one gay man looking out for his fellow fags.

Come on Trump, add Hasan Piker to a terrorist and no fly watch list.
Screw that, send him to Gitmo. He’s shown terrorist recruitment videos on stream to praise their music and he’s interviewed terrorists to promote their ideology. He’s not someone who should be left free

You remember swine flu? I'm surprised we didn't come of age through multiple COVIDs, back when people had the sense to just accept they were being hysterical.

Covid was different because it was (almost certainly) a genetically engineered virus that spread easily from humans to human straight away due to modifications.

Thing is though, even though most of the government now admits that covid escaped from a lab, there hasn't been much mainstream media coverage about it (the media doesn't like admitting they were wrong, I guess) and so the idea hasn't really trickled down to most liberals and leftists.

This media blockade is causing havoc, because if someone still believes that covid was simply a spillover event, they will logically expect other, similar spillover events to happen any second now.

These people have not been given the correct pieces of information (i.e., covid only spread so easily and rapidly among humans because of modifications made to the virus during gain of function research). So they are reaching incorrect conclusions (i.e., diseases like bird flu are not just an agricultural problem, they are also likely to start spreading rapidly between humans and cause another pandemic). If any of your neurotic leftist friends seem unusually terrified of "bird flu," this is why.
