Rome destroyed itself.
Yeah, it's easy to blame the Germanic barbarians, but mostly it was the Romans' endless internal intrigues, corruption & civil wars that destroyed them. Some of the most famous and capable heroes of that last age of the Western Roman Empire who could've saved it were Romano-Germanic military figures, and the people who tore them down were Senators from ancient and distinguished noble families. The Senate and 'traditional' Roman nobility didn't make a single correct choice for pretty much the WRE's entire final century, from oppressing their proto-serfs so hard that the latter weren't motivated to fight for Rome or even thought barbarian rule would be preferable, to assassinating everybody who could've patched up the sinking ship of state.

For example, Stilicho was a Romanized half-Vandal (father was a Vandal mercenary, mother was a Pannonian-Roman provincial lady) who beat the shit out of various barb invaders and was ultimately only undone by his own people leading a giant migratory wave over the frozen Rhine after defeating his Frankish allies who were supposed to stop them on the other side (they put up a good fight though, killed the Vandal king Godegisel). That was only possible because the Eastern Romans were fucking with him so hard that he was preparing to go to war with them, at one point even derailing a successful Greek campaign of Stilicho's where he had trapped the infamous Gothic warlord Alaric and was about to kill him. Now after the crossing of the Rhine and the British revolt of Constantine III, Stilicho's enemies among the Italian Senatorial aristocracy (led by a certain supreme niggerfaggot named Olympius) successfully conspired to push the Emperor Honorius (one of the most useless emperors in late Roman history) to kill him, his entire family and then the families of the Gothic auxiliaries in the Roman army, which directly led to Alaric thrashing their soft untested Italian generals and sacking Rome soon after.

Also Aetius, the guy who beat Attila on the Catalaunian Plains, was almost certainly of mixed barbarian descent. His mother was Italian and of higher birth than Stilicho's, but his father was from what's now eastern Bulgaria and SE Romania. That province of Scythia was, by the 4th-5th centuries, more of a militarized march and populated by foederati auxiliaries, mostly Goths (with some Alans and other peoples, even Huns, mixed in). Unfortunately he was murdered by the other most worthless Roman emperor of the 5th century, Valentinian III, who had been manipulated into doing the deed by the niggerfaggot Senator Petronius Maximus (who promptly killed him now that his greatest champion was dead, usurped the throne and got Rome sacked by the Vandals).

Actually, the only major figure of the WRE from its final century of existence I can think of that wasn't some sort of Roman-German hybrid, be he hero or villain, was the Emperor Majorian. Who did great things in the short time that he ruled but was tortured to death by the general Ricimer (basically a Suebic anti-Stilicho) with the connivance of, as you might guess, the niggers of the Roman Senate.
Saxons - England and Scotland
Franks - france
Visigoths - Spain
Suebi - Portugal
Lombards - Italy
You forgot some,

Ostrogoths - Also Italy (and Croatia)
Scirians - Yet again, Italy (these were Odoacer's people)
Rugians - Austria
Burgundians - Eastern & southeastern France
Vandals - The Maghreb
Gepids - Romania & Hungary

Also to be fair to the barbs, most of them Romanized pretty quickly - adopting Roman law codes or blending it with traditional Germanic laws, becoming Christian, and taking up Romance languages. The Arian heresy slowed the Romanization of some of these tribes, but even that was no longer a factor after the 7th century at the latest. The Visigoths for example had pretty much stopped using their ancestral Gothic language outside of private settings (at most), having heavily intermarried with and assimilated into the ranks of their Hispano-Roman subjects, by the time the Moors came knocking in the early 700s. And those Moors in turn had to first bust past the African Romans (AKA the original Moors, that word's root - Mauri - originally referred to native subjects of the Roman Empire in the Maghreb), who spoke a Romance language resembling Sardinian that survived as late as the 1200s, to even reach Spain; those Mauri had survived the Vandals who had been among the most anti-Roman barbarians, alas they couldn't survive centuries of Islamic rule.

Btw is this shit real? it's been circling in terf circles
Yes it's real.
Most likely behind the push could be:
Richard Grenell, former ambassador to Germany (coincidentially involved with shilling for Moldawian oligarch and human trafficker Vladimir Plahotniuc before)
Paul Ingrassia, now White House liason to the DOJ: Used to be a partner of Joseph McBride, the lawyer Tate is retaining for his libel suit against "Jane Doe" (the woman removed from his compound by police) and her parents as punishment for her cooperating with ROmanian police
Don Jr: Isn't vocal about Tate but has met with him multiple times.

Especially since the Romanian government haven't proven shit with their fucking around.
You realize Tate has been abusing every procedural loophole to keep the trial from happening and got caught by wiretaps in his jail cell discussing bribing officials and ccordinating with various influencers on his payroll on how to intimidate and smear witnesses and victims?
Seriously, go read the Jane Doe countersuit or the various leaks from the Romanian court: They are filled to the brim with Tate self-incriminating about trafficking women, coercing them about doing cam porn and OF, lusting after underage b& and tons of other shit. Thanks to this we also know he signed up one of his girlfriends as a camwhore with MFC while she was underage.

THe man and his brother are career criminals and exactly the kind of scum that should rot in a foreign prison.

Yes, they allowed the germs to settle into the empire when they were running from the Huns instead of killing them.
No you fucking retard, romans got complacent in their own laws and instead of getting their own soldiers, who would be entitled to a plot of land after serving 25 years, they relied on mercenaries. When invasions started happening roman legions had more in common with invaders than the rome itself.

Trump should have just added he will make federal law every abortion ban law needs to be passed in referendum with 50% of the vote. Even in Florida pro abortion Bill got 56% and the only reason it didn't pass is because they needed 60% . Every single pro abortion bill passed including those that are basically killing babies at birth, with flying colours in even red states and every anti abortion failed on referendums the lowest i seen for pro abortion bills i seen is 56% correct me if i am wrong. People genuinely want abortion legal and conservatives need to make peace with it just like dems need to make peace with the fact people want to say nigger and have guns. It's that simple.
Work this a little more and you can pull something similar to libertarian mantra out of it but for MAGA.

Theirs is "i want gay married couples to be able to defend their Marijuana fields from the feds with ar-15s"

So, I will have a probably unpopular opinion.

I want Trump to be able to run for a third term. I want him to keep running until he either dies in office e or resigns mid-term because he feels he has done enough. This would provide ample time to secure MAGA as an ongoing movement -and- allow his successor a while in office to prove themselves while also creating an incumbent advantage.

A cry from the Eagle out West has woken us from our rest and dozing. A societal change is coming and they, whoever they are, wherever they are, however many of them they may be, will not win. What they forget, is that we have history; castles, forts and walls, while they no nothing of the past, which is why they will once again be naught but a mention, a sidenote, to the epics written of our victory.
That is all well and good, unless the coalition in charge or a similarly minded judge doesn't decide to just annul your elections -- because fuck you, that's why -- or forcefully, and legally, put down any proposed or foreseeable change in government (because that change would be illegal).

"This shouldn't cost 20 thousand dollars"
I always think about that episode of King of the Hill where Hank gets a haircut on base and the army decides the haircut was worth $900

I don't think that's necessary. The Democrats keep pushing the same policies that catapulted Trump to a legendary political comeback. People always questioned whether MAGA has staying power beyond Trump and I think, now, it does.

the Wake County DEI faggot @Breadbassket posted about earlier in the thread got BTFO by Musk himself
The Department of Education sent a letter Friday threatening the federal funding of any academic institution that considers race in most aspects of student life — the same day top Trump official Elon Musk warned a Wake County school board member who had criticized opponents of diversity, equity and inclusion that he’s “in for a rude awakening”.

This might be a wild swing of the bat, but I'm guessing the NYU republicans aren't the most MAGA tier republicans out there. Also lol woman leader, of course.
Local, intra-party stuff is all women. Men mostly get involved while running for office or something rather than doing the behind the scenes work. It's certainly a problem sometimes.

Think of why this entire forum exists. Yes, that’s right, your tax dollars paid for (and continues to pay for) the antics of CWC and will continue to do so, likely for the remainder of his life.

His tugboat isn’t cheap, so in essence, we work so Chris can lay around all day doing god knows what. I could be upset, but I got over it years ago

Per your message responding to social security going to those in the 30-39 bracket: joke's on you, Chris is in his 40s now.

Whilst Trump learned his lesson from the first term about who you assign to certain roles and how you ought to treat those who hold nothing but contempt for you, he's getting quite on in years and I don't think he'd want to risk excessive pushback by running for a 3rd term, even if he had the popular support to do so. The best thing he can do is ensure that he supports a true Maga successor and hope said successor is just as effective as he currently is in his second term. I think Vance, from his speech in Munich and Twitter arguments, would be worthy of succeeding him, as he is more acquainted with the way things are rather than the way things were like a lot of older politicians. Whilst someone like DeSantis is aware of the tranny menace for example, he likely learnt how unpopular it was from polls and adhering to Christian values rather than someone like Vance, who has more a presence online and can see what people are upset about and actually want from their elected representatives.

They put women in these positions because many colleges nigh-on demand it. If the student Republican Party organization is all white men, they get Duke Lacrossed.

Trump is only doing so well right now because he’s using the system exactly as it is currently written. If he undoes the term limits, we’d get situations like FDR the moment a Democrat gets back in office. Don’t forget, Obama was bitching about how he could have won a third term as he was walking out of the White House when Trump won in 2016.

While I agree with you, Trump would be in his early 80s by the time he leaves office, and a third term would put him in his mid-to-late 80s. Unlike Biden, he doesn’t appear to be struggling with dementia, but even he must recognize the uncertainties of aging. That’s why, beyond "Punished Trump," he’s moving fast to cement a legacy that he hopes will endure long after he's gone. He wants his impact to be felt for generations, shaping the future through policies and decisions that will outlast his presidency. And, I'm sure he wants to be remembered as a defining president of our time. A few long long years from now, I can see people looking back and celebrating him for what he sacrificed for the MAGA movement.
