FDR literally did try and push America into "communism" if by that you mean authoritarianism. FDR had literal commies and NKVD moles in his administration.

So about those egg prices
WOAH REALLY HAVING LESS OF SOMETHING CAUSES HIGHER PRICES?

Wow next they’ll tell us that having less cows means the price of beef is higher.

Smh I’m so tired of the economically illiterate running the country. At least there’s competence in the White House now.

Yeah, I like the fact that Americans bend the knee to Putin.

Like the good little whore you are so that Chinas Ally can get stronger again.
Russia being an ally of China is not a natural, harmonious thing. China has like eight times the population of Russia and overcrowding is a problem. I’m sure the disparity in population density is an unspoken source of tension, considering how expansionist current Chinese tendencies are.

Another little problem: notice how brown western China is? That’s the gobi desert, and thanks to prevailing westerlies, it’s growing eastward

trying to solve or deal with them they expect everyone to comfort and coddle them.
or throw a pill at 'em.

I saw a clip for an upcoming segment regarding a mother (of course) whose kid died of an overdose, inventing a pill to cure drug addiction. As someone who knows a thing or three about this subject, I screamed internally, "NO!" You can't do that!

Hard times SHOULD cause a great deal of introspection, and force one to deal with whatever comes, self-inflicted or not, and make adjustments accordingly. It's called personal growth.

Sure, a loved one just wants a quick fix - but I guarantee you, you're going to deal with the law of unintended consequences (see also: AIDS and PrEP, birth control and *waves arms around*, Narcan and the fent crisis) - you're just going to make difficult life decisions completely unnecessary by removing the hard work, and therefore these degens will just keep repeating their ways.

The only way to the other side is through.

5k to every American does raise the inflation antenna. However where would that money go otherwise if it exists already? There are congressmen who will try and spend those "savings" on bullshit, so maybe it is best it goes to "the people". Probably would be better to pay down the debt.
We’re taxed so much that if the taxes dropped to reasonable levels we probably would have inflation.

I get $5k and it's going directly into the mortgage. The sooner I get the debt monkey off my back the better.
Trump should not send any direct checks until he keeps his campaign promise of capping credit card interest rates at 10%, otherwise this is just a big moneylender subsidy.

The poster isn't wrong about the first part. It is essentially a purge probably to some extent to get some loyalists in but more in importantly to get disrupters out.

Vance spoke to DailyMail.com hours after Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky accused Trump of living in a Russian-made 'disinformation space.' The extraordinary language on both sides comes at a critical time in the war between Ukraine and Russia, as Trump pushes for a speedy resolution. 'The idea that Zelensky is going to change the president's mind by badmouthing him in public media, everyone who knows the President will tell you that is an atrocious way to deal with this administration,' said Vance during an exclusive interview in his West Wing office.
Vance said Zelensky had been getting 'bad advice' on how to deal with the new administration and for the past three years had been told he could do nothing wrong. 'We obviously love the Ukrainian people. We admire the bravery of the soldiers, but we obviously think that this war needs to come to a rapid close,' he continued. 'That is the policy of the President of the United States. It is not based on Russian disinformation. It's based on the fact that Donald Trump, I think, knows a lot about geopolitics and has a very strong view, and has had a strong view for a very long time.'

CHINA and Russia are both allied because they want less influence from people who are not themselves. In this case, the WEST!!!.

BRICS is trying to create a system so that economic pressure from the US will not matter.
America is pressuring countries not to export critical infrastructure for advanced chip sets so that China can not compete with US companies and protect the US market.
Why would anyone follow America's lead if you can guarantee sales using a secondary system?

"I was a federal worker (who was fired) ... My performance was exceptional ... Got 1500 dollars as a bonus ... Was my dream job."
But what did you do?
"My job was to assess habitat conservation for species for a 55 year habitat conservation plan."
This reminds me of that NGO worker who lost his job, which paid over $35 an hour, and consisted of planting one tree a day.
Edit: Misheard the bonus amount
god I wish I could get paid 10k a month to do nothing
Guys let me tell you about the goddamn trees.
It's one thing to plant trees like someone in the forest service or a landscaper. I'd bet you this person was involved in this stuff:
