I don't think anyone should have kids after age 35 because of personal experience being the kid of older parents.
It sucked seeing other parents doing things with their kids that my parents were too tired and/or apathetic to bother with. Having to explain that yes, those were my parents and not my grandma and grandpa was unpleasant too.
We don't need to go into dealing with the health problems of the elderly and what it does to their kids.

Don't have kids if you're old. Just admire your friends' pictures of their grandkids and call it a day.
A sixty year old can do all the things a parent needs to do. Your parents were just too fat or lazy or both.

View attachment 6999165Just saw this exchange on FB and can't stop laughing. Is this stupider advice than Fatrick's "balloon filled with paint" idea? I wanna see these two live up to the LARP they are putting forward here, so authoritatively.

Further investigation, this guy posts 20-78(!) posts a day about Trump on FB alone since inauguration.

By-the-by, it's the lower federal judges that are setting fire to the constitution. And they'll never see it.
I mean I have a feeling a lot of these people are going to end up with charged doing shit like this to police vehicles and face serious felony charges.

None of them. It always falls on the student. Federal student loans cannot be forgiven through bankruptcy. Worst case the debt dies with the student, in which case it gets written off by the DOEd.
That is not accurate - federal student loans can certainly be discharged in bankruptcy. It's just not automatic, and there's a higher bar to meet.

No need to take my word for it - https://studentaid.gov/manage-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/bankruptcy#circumstances

Under DOGE/Trump, I doubt that Trump would just default $1.74 trillion in debt with the federal government being the majority lender. If the DoE goes, what happens to that debt? That's the part where I'm missing.
One thing nobody has brought up yet... you know who buys almost all of US debt to allow the runaway money-printing? Europe.

This is going to be fun to watch.

Has anybody seen that episode of the Sopranos where Davey is 35K in debt to Tony Soprano because of his gambling addiction?

That's me; I'm Davey with the federal government.

Nothing happens to it, it's just a debt to the government.
Then what is the point with Elon looking into debt borrowers?

Um, maybe they tried to eat acorns when they were horribly unsuccessful at hunting, as a last resort thing, but generally the cold climate natives kinda hunted, hence their wore leather clothes and all

And the tannins in acorns are like, at toxic levels.

My wife is Hopi, and her ancestral food is fried dough with taco toppings on it. They call it “fried bread”.
Idk for sure because I was like, 9 years old when this happened, but apparently a lot of Western Native tribes ate different variations of acorn cakes and acorn mush on the regular, and something about the flour-making process removed the tannins, making the acorn flour safe to eat. In hindsite, I suspect that the mysterious baggies of acorn flour that reappeared a week later had nothing to do with the acorns we'd collected weeks before, and was possibly purchased from the "Native American" man's "tribe" ready to eat. I can't imagine that a single week was enough time to leach out the tannins and dry the flour out again. Anyway, it's a part of Gold Rush history that the Natives of Mariposa County got huffy about their acorn gathering lands and would often murder each other over it. Of course I didn't know any of this at 9 years old, nor did the teacher enlighten us. Her agenda was portraying Natuve Americans as peaceful, nature loving people who would never, ever murder anyone. Here's a very thorough although politically skewed accounting of California Native American History if you're interested, it's got a lot more blood and a lot less chanting and kumbaya moments than you'd expect. The Spaniards were absolute savages lol. It's one of those stories where pretty much everyone involved deserved to die, although this accounting leaves out or attempts to justify a bunch of the most horrendous shit the Native Americans did. Still worth a read if you've got the time.

Nothing. Just because a department in the government gets closed doesn’t mean you magically don’t owe the government money anymore. It’s all the same entity. It will probably either go to the DOT to collect or the IRS. Trump is not going to forgive student loans. That position is extremely unpopular with Republicans and he specifically ran against that position.

I'm under a loan forgiveness program but my provider is taking their time in approving it. I don't know if recent developments have anything to do with it.

I've always heard the cope of "I can't have kids any later than 20's because I'll be too old to keep up or play with them!"
I don't understand how you can relegate yourself to being a broken fat mess when you're 40. My parents were 30 and 35 when they had me and they worked out, it isn't hard. Your genes need NOT propagate if you're elderly by 40.

Have it dollar to dollar for debt to defense spending they don't do, force them to either militarize and get rid of their communist health care, or surrender the debt they illicitly have over us.

The "70 ancestors" theory is a horoscope-tier theory. The Americas feature multiple completely unrelated language groups, unrelated like German and Chinese are unrelated (the Mayans and Aztecs are from different language families despite living side by side), and genetic distances on par with Asia. A plausible explanation is there were actually multiple waves that came over from Asia, with earlier groups heading further south before settling because it was colder.
This theory came about as the result of a 2005 genetic study. Further studies have concluded similarly that the Native American population experienced a significant genetic bottleneck of some sort.

You have to soak them in water multiple times to leach out the tannins. It sounds like your expert native white man skipped that step.

I my opinion as soon as you have kids you give up any right to be a fat lazy unfit slob. At no point does a child deserve to see their parent falling apart and on a million drugs because they refuse to take care of themselves.

Doesn't matter if the parent is 40 or 80. It is now your job to stay as healthy and active as possible until you die.
My grandparents are still healthy well into old age, surrounded by great grandkids. They live with family, but overall are still very independent and the whole family is happier because they're healthy and doing well.

Meanwhile I have other family members who have expressed they worry their parents won't live long enough to see their grandchildren because they're so sick from lifestyle related disease.
I find it disgusting because it causes them so much distress and not having a parent around to guide you through those first years of a new baby is such a hard thing to deal with.

When you pick up the diapers, you also pick up the weights and put the doritos and mountain dew away.
My spouse and I have both agreed that once we agreed to have a family we also agreed to keep ourselves mentally and physically healthy so our kids don't have to spend a single bit of energy worrying about us or feeling we're holding them back. It was great motivation and we're both healthier for it.

Might be a hard stance to take, but I've seen what the alternative can do and it's not pleasant. Especially because for the first ten years you are your child's role model.

Anti-natalists want everyone to believe no one should have babies until they've discovered themselves and are at least 28-30, but also don't have any after 35 because you're probably doomed and the kid will be deformed. Hell of a way to bring the population numbers down, but it's based on myths.
Yeah most "sex education" and related messaging is tryna scare you away from having children. They made people think the natural result of sex is a terrible curse. Which is only sometimes true irl. :ramona:

A healthy typical 40 year old woman can get pregnant without any difficulty and the kid will be fine. 40something Moms have been carrying and delivering normal, healthy, non-Chris Chan babies since we left the Garden of Eden. Internet fedora guys would have you believe women are withered crones by age 30. (That is why they don't have girlfriends.)

Having kids is the greatest thing you'll ever do and it's worth all the sacrifice. It's an awesome adventure where you get to make your own posse. Government policy should be pro-babies, because I believe the children are our future :tomgirl:. The new IVF EO is a good start. Make American Families Again! :trump:
