If you live in DC proper you have to get DC plates and a special parking tag. When I lived there there was ONE office to do this at and you had better be in line by about 7:30am. I disagree. It's not about the age of the parents. It's not being involved in kids life. Some people can just be focused on career or have mental problems (or be lazy). Only "real" problem is life expectancy means parents are likely to die while you're in your 20s.
