Ok I got to call out the populist Trump types here and ask some questions.
1: You say that Elon's comment about giving every American 5000 dollars would not cause inflation and would not be a big deal, but republicans kept saying how the war in Ukraine was costing America to much money even though giving every American 5000 would cost more then America has spent on Ukraine the entire war.
2: How does America giving up on Ukraine benefit America ? ?Ukraine talked about a 500 billion dollar mineral deal meanwhile giving up would on America nothing and make all the previous money spent a waste.
3: Be honest why do you hate European countries so much ? The majority of Americans are European and even if you are not as an American Europe is your spiritual motherland. If you want to be able to keep up with China at a time when China is making inroads with other countries for deals you can't alienate your base, if you want to support Israel (I don't know why you would but the majority of Trump voters do) then you shouldn't alienate Europe t a time when more and more are getting stick of Israel and recognizing Palestinian state hood.
1. 1.5 trillion to give 5k to every adult. 834 billion to give 5k to every tax payer. The latter is more than twice than what was given to Ukraine, but would benefit the American people infinitely more, no?
2. Helping Ukraine fight a war they couldn't ever hope to win by grinding their male population into paste with the help of the American taxpayer does more damage to both Ukraine and the USA than the USA forcing a peace by threatening to cut off support. And what's Ukraine going to do?
Not to business with America because they were a bit mean? That's cutting off your nose to spite your own face.
3. I can't answer for Americans, but it's very easy to deduce why. In the UK, everyone outside of London hates London. The population are the most full of themselves, adhere to hyper progressive politics and look down on the rest of the country. Now imagine the insufferable capitals of every European nation speaking in unison, emphasising their own arrogance and perceived superiority whilst being dismissive of America, so immersed in their own pride that they are not only ignorant to how the rest of their own country perceives them, how restrictive their lives actually are, and how their political causes are contributing to the downfall of their nation, but also of how interlinked their country is with the United states and how much America contributes to their quality of life, even if indirectly. I haven't even touched on the politicians who often come from these people, such as the Germans who laughed at Trump when he told them that an energy crisis was incoming way back when. I like to think - and hope - that the combination of insufferable haters, liberals and politicians hasn't completely marred people's opinions here of
all Europeans, and that when they speak with disdain, it's about
those people, not
all of us.
