Still seeing liberals do the "Have fun with egg prices skyrocketing" argument. Question here, did Kamala have any fucking plans to drop egg prices? These guys act like Kamala's plan to grant mass amnesty and flood the country with more 3rd world migrants will some how drop egg prices. She literally had no plans to drop egg prices and yet liberals are acting like we'd have cheap eggs if she was president.
Maybe she was going to allow illegal poultry in under an amnesty?

I don't hate the Russians enough to do that to them.
I fucking loved Russians until they invaded Ukraine. And even then, the problem was that they announced bff status with China right before they pulled the trigger.

And I get all the nuance. I know about Russian expansion in Georgia and other former Soviet states, and I know about US geopolitical “bearbaiting” and Soros funded faggotry..

It’s not that I blame them more than half, but I was sorely disappointed. The US intelligence community is fucking retarded for ever failing to weigh the cost benefit curve of alienating Russia until they went team China. It left us needing fucking India

NASA's TikTok influencers are very worried about potential cuts:

Budget cuts (relatively to the insanely high Apollo spending) don't explain why they went backwards:

Someone points out that they've wasted their budget pushing conspiracy theories instead of actual space programs:

NASA may not be able to build rockets anymore, but that's because they do SCIENCE instead:

Worried that Trump's NASA will actually work on its charter of advancing human spaceflight:

Obama cut funding to NASA like year 1 of his presidency, and thats when it started going downhill.

I still love NASA, and the workers in the mission control for keeping the ISS working, but theyve been a shell of themselves awhile now, cut the funding, keep the good ones, then give funding back, should give it a nice boost to going back to what it originally was

I know there's a lot of talk about wanting to ban junk food and soda from being able to be purchased on EBT. The problem with regulating what the peasant class can and can't do is that when does it stop? First they'll say you can't buy shit with EBT. Then they'll start regulating what you can and can't use Social Security funds for.

Look. I get the idea of wanting to make food and other shit healthy again, but shotgunning and going all militant about it is a good way to get the people (who were initially on your side) pissed off all over again. In the end, no one will do shit. You need to give people a choice. You can give them the information, it's up to them exercising their own free will over it. You can't just force someone into a new way of living and expect it to go well. See what happened with Prohibition?
I think there's some middle ground possible between "poor people should only eat flavorless gruel" and "poor people should be able to spend all their gibs on soda". Most places already prevent EBT from being spent on shit like precooked food at the gas station (so no wings or whatever)

Honestly, I'm more tolerant of soda being prevented from being purchased on EBT, but "JUNK FOOD" is such a subjective term that could apply to literally anything. After all, someone could consider Bologna as "junk food".

I mean, I literally miss being eligible for food stamps by one fucking dollar per hour, so if I’m paying taxes and shit to fund people who make one fucking dollar an hour less than me, yeah, I’d ask that they at least go to the supermarket and get a reasonable value with my money instead of blowing it on toxic shit

In other news there is a dang lion on the loose in a California neighborhood

somehow im sure this is also trumps fault
It’s a mountain lion. They are native to California. I have a female mountain lion who lives in my area and feeds on the deer population. Every once in a while, we’ll see her on game cameras, sometimes with a cub.

It’s weird that this one is in town and I’m sure it doesn’t want to be. I hope they can relocate it without it needing to be euthanized.

Damn another plane crash, at least this time it said it was two small planes but still damn

There's no way to make it a middle ground, unfortunately.

If you allow some arbitrary nutrient criteria for EBT, then the only thing that's gonna change is that the manufacturers are going to either shift existing formulas, create a variant of that formula to fit EBT, or lobby as hard as satan himself to make the cutoff so pathetic that it's effectively useless.

Read up on literally every single food rating system in the world, like Australia's star system or the EU's nutri-score, it's gamed to fuck, and makes zero sense.

If you add a tax specifically for EBT on junk food, you both have the same issue as above (although you can just say NOVA 4), then you're actually exposing yourself for discrimination, as it would be seen as a tax specifically discriminating against the poor.

A straight up cutoff at NOVA 3 and saying that EBT are only eligible for NOVA 3 or better, you can't pin it as a tax on the poor, it's an incentive for them to buy healthy food. Much easier to defend in court.

And sure, they won't be able to buy "Healthy UPF" like Whey powder or protein bars or vegan bullshit or whatever, but these things are supposed to be supplements in the first place, so they can still invest in them with their meager salary.

I don't know why people seem to think no junk food or soda = flavorless gruel. What's left is just normal fucking food. Americans currently eat 40% ultraprocessed slop and I think it's up to 60% for children. What's considered normal has shifted so hard that if you entertain the thought of saying "hey maybe we should only pay for normal shit like vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, dairy and other whole foods instead of slop that makes you sick and retarded?" everyone freaks the fuck out.

Learn to fucking cook holy shit. It should take 15-30 minutes per meal, less if you batch cook.
The problem with subsidizing junk food and soda for the poor is it makes them fucking sick and then they gobble up even more tax money by needing insulin and hypertension meds and a dozen different medications by the time they hit 40. Not to mention that increasing risk of disability due to increased bone fracture from a obesity and diabetes related osteoporosis and sarcopenia and devastating chronic disease that renders them unable to work.

The kinder thing to do is to provide them fresh healthy food so they can be as well as possible which also, by the way, helps support them getting out of needing financial support and food stamps in the first place given mental illness is tightly linked to physical health as well.

We are spending tax money on food for them that keeps them sick and reliant on tax dollars. It is so fucking retarded I can barely stand it.

EDIT: NOVA classification needs to be fixed. If I remember right it classified fucking ground beef as an ultraprocessed food. fuck off with that retarded bullshit.

As far as EBT goes, at least in my state there's straight up food stamps, and then EBT cash. Food stamps are limited in what they can be spent on but EBT cash is whatever. Most people just extract the latter and put it in their bank account or just carry it as cash.
I feel like discouraging EBT cash in favor of flat out food stamps would also help. The intent is noble-- give people cash to, say, pay bills or whatever, but I bet it gets abused a lot.

It should be unpleasant to live on the public's generosity as a motivator to become independent. More than just the economics, being financially independent creates a sense of self-worth and a safer overall society.
NASA should be consolidated into the space force
There should probably be a civilian space agency separate from the military for science and exploration. Maybe with private space companies that is outdated thinking.

It would be interesting to have the Space Force or Air Force regulate civilian air traffic. I'd almost rather have the military secure our airports than the faggot TSA. One less department to pay for and helps secure our borders through air travel.

I'm talking about how that does not form a true connection with the public at large. Sending people to outer space is the ultimate flex. People care about people, they'll remember what human did personally over what a probe did. Probes should only be used as a setup for manned flight, not the main focus. Otherwise, you'll be in danger of stagnating on the list of tech advancements needed for mankind to go further into space. Look how much we had to rediscover the past few decades because we shelved deep space flight for man since the moon landings. From the rockets to the space suits themselves. It was honestly a large blackpill. If it wasn't for Musk, we'd be completely fucked still.

Tldr, we need to focus on putting man into space or we will never truly incentivise the tech needed to do so. We need pioneers and natiobal heroes.
President Trump is expected to sign an EO restoring us to the Star Trek: Enterprise timeline.
